Lovely CL in a great location.

We stayed at Norwood for 2 weeks and had a fabulous time. The CL is easily accessible with no tight lanes to navigate although the entrance is narrow but can be done with a little bit of extra care and attention. Upon arrival our pitch was allocated and Helen arrived shortly after to welcome us - she was very friendly and answered all our questions we had about the local area. Helen paid regular trips to the site (as she lives just down the road) ensuring that the site was kept to a high standard - it's one of the best kept cl sites we have been on. The site has a great fish and chip shop, bakery, butchers, spar and pub just down the road with a large Tesco in nearby Wadebridge.  For a dog free beach I would recommend Polzeath and Daymer Bay or Rock if you require dog friendly. We would definitely return to this site again. 5*

Very nice friendly site

Site is easy to find on the main road to Rock and is behind the farm House which limits the traffic noise and is not intrusive. Access might be a bit tight with large van and 4x4 but is possible with care. Many shops including a butchers and electrical/hardware store are only a couple of miles away. Owner was away when I arrived and a marker was by the pitch allocated. The grass site was well trimmed and a tidy area for water and recycling. The owners son came round to collect the pitch fee and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent CL

I have just spent a week at Norwood. It is a very laid back and peaceful CL and it was a relaxing experience. Sometimes you can hear noise from the road, but unless you stay on a CL at the end of a long track or very rural road, this will always be the case. The road noise was not disturbing. Access to the site is quite narrow; you do need to take a wide swing. Another guest who stays regularly said that it is possible to carry on down the road past the CL where there is a turning point, then access is much easier with the site on your right. The CL owner was away when I arrived but a peg was left out on our pitch and the other CL users came over to make sure we knew where everything was and see if we needed any help. Some vehicles do travel fast on the road that leads to local villages so I would not have felt comfortable walking along it. However, it's a short drive to the nearest village and Wadebridge is ten minutes at most in the car. The area is absolutely lovely. Lots of gorgeous beaches, cliff top walks and culinary delights can be experienced.

Nice site but noisy

Norwood is a nice site but sadly the road noise from the Rock to Polzeath road was a bit too much at times, especially at night. This would not be a problem for everyone but for us it was.
