Quiet, lovely CL

This is a well kept CL with well spaced hardstandings (although you need levelling blocks). It is very quiet and peaceful in a lovely part of the Lakes. We will definitely return.

really good site

A super site and lovely lady. We started poorly by being held up by heavy traffic on our long journey, however a phone call sorted it. A lovely welcoming voice said " don't worry about it, there are two sites vacant , take your choice and I'll see you in the morning," what more could you ask for! It was nice to meet Mrs Hunter, she and my wife talked for ages. The surrounding country side spectacular, only spoiled by so many cars around the lakes, but we added to it so we cannot say anything really Its a basic site that we look for, sanitation and drinking water and we are happy, those were all available so Happiness

Fabulous views

A well looked after CL with hard standing pitches. Levelling blocks needed, pitches and adjacent grass areas are large. Fabulous views across the countryside. As mentioned in previous reviews static caravans are nearby as are two further pitches next to the gate, however all are well spaced and the site feels spacious. Fresh water and chemical toilet point all easy to use - and most importantly separate. Lots of walks directly from the site. A great site and highly recommend visiting this CL.

One of the CL Jewels...

We stayed on this site for a weekend break and it was all we could ask for! Peaceful & Quiet, lots of space between pitches, well maintained, helpful owners! We asked if we could stay a bit longer to take advantage of the day prior to leaving, offered to pay for another night, this was refused. The owner came out to make sure and help that we got hooked on okay (I am a woman, usually without my husband, with three kids...), and seen us off safely! Very close to the M6 for an overnight stop off either going North or South. Close enough for access to the main Lake District if required (this was what we used it for). Exceptional views! Statics don't appear to be holiday lets so not a lot of activity. Only five there at present and only one had someone there while we were there... Considering our first choice CL in the Lake District asked for £24 per night for 1 adult and 3 kids although they advertised £15 all inclusive, at £11 per night this CL was absolutely a Charm!!!

A lovely CL

Small but perfectly formed, Slight sloping gravel pitches so ramps needed. EHU, CDP, fresh water. Owner very friendly and helpful. Surrounded by stunning countryside. No traffic noise. Peace and quiet. There are some static caravans (6) but set away from tourer pitches. Well kept lawns and hedgerows. All in all a lovely site and we will return.
