Working Dairy Farm

Nice tidy site on a working dairy farm. Plenty of space with several hard standing pitches. Stayed 3 nights & made use of the cafe next door, lovely coffee, cakes & ice cream. Being at the top of a hill it was windier than a more sheltered site but we would’nt be put off by this & would go again. Great for cycling although all up hill back from Bakewell.

Nice CL

Nice CL, perfect for exploring the peak district and high peak trail. Good size field and relatively level. Nice farm with farm shop / ice cream and coffee shop. Beautiful views over the peak district. Nicely kept and excellent access, we would like to stay again.

Can't Wait To Visit Again

Just had a lovely 3 night stay at Tagg Lane Grange. Arrived on Monday and pitched up next to a field full of friendly Jersey cows and the most fantastic view of the beautiful Derbyshire countyside. You can pitch wherever you want as there are various hook ups round the site. Unfortunately it then rained for 36 hours and when we tried to leave for a day out we were stuck. Les very kindly towed us out and we had a lovely afternoon in Bakewell, had to try the pudding !! Yum... The site is spotlessly clean and there is now a very chic Cafe on site selling teas, coffees , homemade Jersey ice cream and homemade cakes. The Farm shop also sells raw Jersey milk , butter and free range eggs. Ideal spot for exploring and is only 10 mins from Bakewell. The Boam family are very welcoming and we can't wait to visit again. Loved being on the farm and watching the daily routine with the cows.

Perfect Peace

This site is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the Peak District, within easy reach of Buxton and Ashbourne. Close to beautiful villages and walks in the fabulous Derbyshire Dales you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to walking with routes both gentle and dramatic. The site itself has large grass pitches some with kook ups as well as hard standings. The farm will soon have a Cafe and be serving Jersey Ice Creams so even more reason to come and enjoy the fabulous views from the site and sit relaxing after exploring the villages and dales around the site. Will we be back yes I'm sure we will

Nice little find..

Stayed for a few nights & really enjoyed our stay, field is a little uneven but well looked after. Plenty of room to site your van, can get a bit of noise from the farm & if the wind is blowing the wrong way, well it is a working farm what else do you expect. You can hear a little road noise too but nothing too obtrusive. You are just a few miles from Bakewell & other towns in the area so it is a perfect place to explore from. The farm sells fresh Jersey milk & free range eggs..
