What a gem !

Beautiful walking area direct from site & all local amenities within driving distance. Combe Cellars Riverside Pub only 25 minutes walk away or 5 minutes drive . Richard & Sally are very welcoming & full of local information. Will definitely stay again.

Peace and Quiet with loads of space.

Easter 2017. Stayed at Hows farm for a long weekend, we telephoned a couple of week earlier and spoke to a pleasant site owner who was concerned that the site may be too wet for our outfit as it is sloping, the weather leading up to Easter was dry so we carried on. On arrival we had no problem sighting the van at the top of the slope, which gives stunning views of the surrounding undulating countryside. Nice walks from site, lovely cosy pub at Combeinteignhead about a mile away, another mile is Shedon and Teignmouth with shops beeches and pubs.

Lots of space, simple and quiet

Stayed in July 2014. A nice empty field, it is sloping in places so bring your levelling blocks, near to facilities and the brilliant beaches but feels cut off! Great for families and lots of places to explore.

Little Gem

Great basic CL situated in a quiet valley in a great location close to Shaldon on the South Devon coast. There is a large supermarket close by in Newton Abbot. The last 1/4 mile approach to the site is very narrow. Enjoyed our stay here in July 2012. Remember there is no electric and a stream does run through the field.
