Tiverton Certificated Locations

The Devon town of Tiverton is ideally located for visitors who love to explore nature and see some of the south west’s most beautiful sights. It’s just a few miles from Exmoor National Park, where you can see some gorgeous woodland as well as the coastline.

It’s also a great place to visit if you love history. The town is home to Tiverton Castle, a royal fortress commissioned in 1106 by Henry I. You could also head over to Knightshayes Court, a surviving Gothic Revival built in 1869.

If museums are more your thing, you can learn about Tiverton's heritage at the award-winning Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life, which features 14 galleries of exhibits, including the Tivvy Bumper GWR locomotive.
