TWO NIGHTS

Only stayed two nights and didn’t spend long on the CL. Our omnidirectional Maxview motorhome aerial picked up a limited number of stations but the Wi-Fi was good. South facing with a view over a field of sheep with Bridport and the sea in the distance. Proximity to Bridport allows access by foot across the field and through housing estates into the centre. The B3162 access road isn’t busy and is lower than the site which muffles road noise. The 5 pitches in a row have crushed stone hardstandings for the car, motorhome or caravan and are separated by areas of grass. Each pitch has its own water supply with an EHU close by. The well stocked farm shop, café and its parking area are out of sight behind a lane and trees which border the CL’s northern boundary. It's only evidence from the pitches is a slight hum from the shop’s coolers. We reported to the shop on arrival to pay our fee and had no further contact. There is a well maintained toilet for the exclusive use of the CL. With a car there are plenty of interesting places to explore in the area.

well organised site

Stayed here with my caravan last week for the Bridport Folk festival. the site is behind the shop and has good views across fields to Bridport and the sea. Each caravan space has its own tap and the toilet etc is at the beginning of the caravan row. The shop is very well used by local people and has most meats and veg all locally produced, some from the farm. There is a little road noise but may be that was because we were in the closest pitch to the road. There is a foot path into Bridport which is a very nice town. The road up to the site is narrow in places and busy at certain times. I would recommend this site to other members.

Wow, great CL

Just spent 16 nights on this fabulous CL site. Stunning views across the countryside and over West Bay in the distance. Lots to do within 25 miles of the site. A well stocked farm shop with fresh produce dailey and even a cafe for a nice breakfast, lunch or just a slice of cake.and coffee. Great dog walks around the farm fields. Booked again for 2020.

What a shame.

This must be one of the best C.L.s we have stayed at. Stunning location with views over Bridport and West Bay to the sea. Brilliant Farm shop which seems always busy, staff always polite and friendly. Enjoyed our stay so much, we have booked again for next year. As usual, there is always something to spoil the visit, this time it is owners not controling there dogs, off the lead and running around barking and worrying the livestock. Cows with new calves in one field, sheep in the other. Come on dog owning members, don't be so selfish. This was by two different outfits during our stay.
