Why stay here ...

Omaha Meadows is situated on the edge of Moors Valley Country Park and is owned by Alan & Jane Bingham. Within a 2 minute walk, there is recreational grounds and a children's play park. Within 5 minute walk, you are in Moors Valley Country Park. There are many walks, cycle routes, running routes, fishing, golf, ride on model railway, segways and Go-Ape in the park. The site has its own river which can be fished.

The site is suitable for families, walkers, cyclists and dog owners. Slightly further away is Verwood Forest which offers great scenery and walks. Within a 10 minute drive is the market town of Ringwood and another 5 minutes further afield is Bournemouth Beach and The New Forest. New Forest Water Sports is only a 12 minute drive away and Paultons Park is only 25 minutes away.

We have a brand new service block with male & female toilets and showers. The site is very quiet and is kept to a high standard with lots of flowers and plants. We open all year round and allow dogs on site.

The village of Verwood is less than a mile away. Verwood has several good pubs, a supermarket, fuel stations and local shops.

Upon your arrival, we will give you a welcome pack. In this pack we put all the local information that you will need to have a great stay. We also add a "What's On" page for the time of your stay.

We have just taken delivery of two baby billy goats. They live in the field next to the campsite. They are friendly, funny and entertaining. They have an adventure play area that they climb on and we are teaching them to use their 'Goat-Swing' !! Rocky and Rolo look forward to meeting everyone, young and old.

We also have a Book Swap Box. We have over 100 books for you to choose from and swap.

We really look forward to your stay and we will ensure you have a great time and want to come back to this wonderful new site.

Fabulous Site

Omaha Meadows is a really fabulous CL. Alan and Jane are the most welcoming and friendly of hosts and the facilities on site are superb. A beautifully clean (brand new) shower and toilet block - a real bonus on a CL. The site pitches are spacious, clearly defined, level and well kept. The site is near Potterne Park (a few minutes walk) which is a great Park for children of all ages. From Potterne Park there are numerous cycling trails (lots of which are tarmac and some forest trails) which lead into Moors Valley. Omaha Meadows is a really superb site in a fabulous location, we can't wait to return.

Perfect spot for a weekend away

Perfect site for a weekend away (or longer). The site is easy to find and with easy access. We were welcomed by Jane and provided with a welcome pack and an introduction to where everything was. Only our second time away in our caravan and I managed to leave the electric hook cable in the garage! After a quick trip to Halfords Alan was able to provide a spare, saving me a little bit of earache !! Shower and toilet facilities are new and kept nice and clean. The site was full (only 5 pitches) but there were enough facilities to keep everyone happy. Pitches were more than big enough, with a bit of space for the kids to play in, we didn't feel crowded at all. Ideal spot to explore the local area, Moors Valley is a few minutes walk away, easy to find and somewhere you could spend all day in. We ventured down to the Durdle Door for the day on Saturday only 30 miles away but at least an hour drive in morning traffic. We'd definitely recommend and would go back if staying in the area again.

Last minute weekend away with the kids

Lovely site run by very friendly people. Made to feel very welcome with our 1 and 3 yr olds. Nice clean toilets and showers. Close to town so good access to shops and takeaways. Best of all for us was the easy 2 minute walk down the road to a beautiful park that had a children's enclosed play area with a wide range of equipment, and a river that was suitable for a paddle! We will definitely be returning to explore the park again and venture round to Moors Valley country park as well. We're also looking forward to seeing the riverside area that is being developed on the site and possibly the baby goats!! Highly recommend this site for families 🙂

Lovely Weekend

Just had a lovely weekend on this very new site. Easy to find, with good access, and with generous sized level pitches. Ladies and gents toilets with loo roll, hand soap and paper towels. Ideal spot for cycling and walking. Morrison's just down the road, plenty of pubs and a couple of camping accessory shops near by. Lovely hosts who are improving the site all the time. Highly recommended, we'll certainly be back. Thank you Alan and Jane
