Peaceful and relaxing

Kingston Lacy Estate
As my husband is a key worker he has been looking forward to this break for a long time. The pitches are almost level. Electric is right by each pitch and water, rubbish and toilet disposal close by. The views from every pitch is amazing. As we had perfect weather for our stay it was just what was needed. As we have stayed here a few times I was most disappointed at the number of people using the campsite as a cut through to the gardens so they don't have to pay. In the last few months my faith in humanity has wavered and the actions of those people is another nail in the coffin.

Perfect peace

Kingston Lacy Estate
I agree with all that has been said about the peace and tranquility of the site. It is perfection and has wonderful access to the parkland directly from the CL with the house being less than ten minutes walk away along the straight path you see people and estate vehicles on, or through the little wood and directly into the gardens. There is a telephone number on the gate in case of emergency as there is no one on site to welcome you or advise. There is an excellent farm shop ten minutes walk away. Like another reviewer I was surprised that being NT there is no recycling and even more surprised when one night there were six vans on site. On our first pitch there was no TV or telephone reception but we moved to another pitch next day and had some reception. My WIFI didn't work at all or at the house when I tried in their car park.

Amazing place

Kingston Lacy Estate
We have just come back from a couple of nights staying at this site, if you want peace, tranquility, wildlife and wonderful walks then this is the place to go, the only noises we heard on the August bank holiday weekend were several different owls, buzzards and a muntjac deer, we watched the roe deer in the field every night and walked through the Kingston Lacy estate which in itself was a privilege we felt. We will be back for many more visits.

Perfect - in every way.

Kingston Lacy Estate
Our second visit to this wonderful CL which offered everything we want. Peace, beautiful natural environment, views of amazing wildlife, water and EHU. It is correct that there is no-one on site, but that is not an issue for us. If you need a personal welcome to a site, you would be best to book a different site. On both occasions I have booked I have had no problems with the booking process and the access information has been e mailed with the confirmation. We love it and hope nothing changes. We will certainly return.

Wonderful site!!

Kingston Lacy Estate
Just come back from 10 nights on this beautiful site I can’t quite believe how lucky we are to be able to get free access to the gardens! Great coffee shop, gift shops the house was spectacular! Very central situated and the walks with the dogs were vast! Thanks for a great holiday we will defiantly be back next year 😊
