Re-open in 2020

Contacted before arrival by Roger with their Covid measures which was appreciated. Nice open field with plenty of space, and easy access to site and local attractions. Local pub the Old Thatch open for meals with prior bookings - recommended

Week stay July 2020

The location is easily accessible from the main trunk roads & directions supplied by the owners lead you direct to site. The site is spacious & well tended with recycling bins on each pitch. This is a good location for visiting the local tourist spots & Wimbourne Minster is a pleasant hour walk away. Roger & Elaine are very nice & helpful owners whom take great care of their site. Would definitely stay here again

Good CL

Stayed here for a week. Plenty of room. Although I noticed one caravanner parked quite close to another, when they didn't need to be so close ( 3 x metres away, when it should have been 6 ) Grass well maintained. Recycling boxes at each pitch. Good central position. Quite a lot of traffic noise during the daytime, but quiet at night. No worries about security, well fenced site with electric gates.

FANTASTIC CL

The site is beautifully kept by Roger and Elaine Ward. Access is by electronically operated gates. The field is spacious and the grass is kept very short. It is a quiet spot but with easy access to nearby towns and places of interest. There is even a dedicated WC for caravaners. Roger is a very helpful man who provided me with a drill and some Stixall glue to treat a crack which had appeared in my caravan front window. Enjoyed my stay and hope to be back again sometime
