A CL To Chill Out On!

We were originally booked to head down to Cornwall but cancelled that due to hearing of the mass of holiday makers heading that way. After a bit of searching we found a vacancy on this CL which turned out to be an absolute God send! We arrived to see our name against the designated pitch on the arrivals board and we duly got set up. This was our first time out in the caravan with our new 6 month old puppy so having pitch number one proved to be a bonus for her to stretch her legs (on a tether of course). Anyway the CL proved to be an ideal place to chill out away from the crowds and it was such a relief to be there after the lock down. There is ample space for everyone to spread out and the view across the fields was lovely. The site was very well kept with short cut grass although the clippings are not collected. This wasn't an issue due to the dry weather but may prove otherwise in wet conditions. Hand sanitiser was put in place at the entry gates, water points and waste point which was a nice touch. The only slight negative was the access road which ran along the edge of the site can be busy with skip lorries using it to access the large waste site, but after a day or so it didn't really bother us but please bear it in mind. The access into the drive off the "B" road can also be a bit tricky if encountering one of the skip lorries coming in the opposite direction! Other than that I cant fault the site or facilities. Although I'm not keen on Bridlington itself the Flamborough headland is beautiful but can be busy as were the roads that access the headland. Bridlington itself can be very, very busy with traffic passing through. We found that Fraisthorpe beach was ideal for letting our puppy experience the seaside for the first time and visited it on a few occasions. All in all a very pleasant weeks stay which recharged our batteries and was so welcome during these challenging times.

Our Little Bridlington Beauty.

Just had a fab 4 days again at our favourite Brid beauty spot. With the circumstances surrounding the Covid 19, Mrs Martendale has set hand sanitisers at every point that people are going to use, ie, the hook up points and water points, the disposal points/ recycle bins and even though she is shielding she still tries to make a point of seeing visitors. All the names on the board at the gate for siting. Well back to the 4 days, it is the first time in a long time that every one on the site, and I mean most sites weve visited have been great too meet. A lovely young couple from worksop with there springer pup and two lovely young girls, another great couple with there old Lab, a lovely old chap and his wife with there Yorkie and a couple from Stockport. It has been a fab days and Ann and i thank you for making it enjoyable. We do apologise for the hounds barking a little, just protective of there ground. We had a great day at Hunmanby with the dogs which is approx 9 mile away but it is a bit of a trek down to the beach, but the dogs loved the water yet again. We will be back very soon to this little gem of a site. Bryan, Ann and The Weimars

Nice Little C/L Site

Second time we have visited Beech Brook Farm . This time was better as the wife was lucky to have three deers come onto the site close to our plot, this site is fantastic if your looking for peace and quiet also wild life. no problems with entrance onto site very easy access to and from the field. Mrs Martindale and her husband are very helpful and also keep a good site. we stayed for six nights just before the May bank holiday monday. Very easy access to all parts of the coast line. Will be staying there again this year.

Wonderful People and great location

What a absolute Gem of a site and lovely people. We were stuck for somewhere to go at short notice and Mrs Martindale had a cancellation, there loss our gain. There are not many places where you can go and let the dogs run, I suppose we were lucky that the crop had just been taken in and Judy told us we were free to let them run on the field. They loved it. It takes some doing exercising 3 Weimars. So thanks once again Judy, it was really appreciated and we will be back. The Location is ideal for a short trip upto Filey, Reighton Gap and Hunmanby beaches. We paid the latter one a visit with the dogs as they love the sea and water. The facilities are ideal for a quiet welcome break, and even though the skip lorries are in and out, they don't really bother you. I may have dropped a clanger by writing this review with the place being so nice, but we will definitely be back if we can get in. Thanks again Judy. Bryan, Ann and the Hounds.

Wonderful

Beautiful location, firm level grass standing, well maintained grass pitches, lovely farmland views from caravan, toilet on site(clean and well maintained), two fresh water taps, recycling on site, friendly owners who leave you alone but are there if you need help, close to beeches and Coastal facilities, nice garden centre nearby, easy access to main coast road. The only negatives I could give this site is that there is a skip hire company in and adjacent area of the farm, they use a different route into farm but close to caravan site so there is some vehicle noise in the early mornings, weekdays only, this has never bothered us but if you want total peace and quiet don't come here or try weekends first, otherwise a great location.
