More positives than negatives

Church Barn Farm
Old fashioned basic CL Fantastic views Good public foot path network One path from site goes directly to pub One path takes you down to Church wood a pretty place well worth a visit Service station in village with Costcutter franchise Entry road to CL has a small school best advised not to leave or arrive at school run time Battle and Bexhill on sea is a short drive away CL is next to St Marys Church there is a clock bell that chimes 24/7 but not really loud enough to intrude. Just two down points as mentioned before toilet emptying is some distance away at farm house. Second point is a Mole infestation with active mole making new mounds on a daily basis thus the CL surface is very bumpy and you need to choose your pitch carefully to get it level. This is a CL I would certainly use again priced at £8 PN is very reasonable

Lovely site.

Church Barn Farm
Lovely site and nice lady running it. It said £6.00 but it has now increased to £8.00 still good value. The grass was a little long and rough the ground a bit bumpy but will definitely be going there again. Beautiful views across to the downs and the sea. The only slight down side the toilet disposal was away from the site ok if you have a car not so good if you have a Motorhome or difficulty in walking far. Excellent for dog walking.

Lovely site

Church Barn Farm
Very peaceful site. Only 5 motorhomes/caravans allowed so plenty of space. Lovely views across the valley. Drinking water and rubbish bins provided. Very welcoming owner and relaxed booking in. A great value site.

Nice quiet site

Church Barn Farm
We liked this site. We don't think it is quite 2 acres - more like 1½ and NO ONE walked through the site while we were there. Nice walks from the site. The grass was very long which meant we got our feet wet and it is a long trek to empty the loo. It is a site we might use again - recommended.

Basic but Beautiful

Church Barn Farm
A very basic CL with limited amenities. It is very rural. When we stayed we were on our own and it felt as if we were camping in the middle of nowhere. We like that, but others may not. The views are good. You can see the sea in the distance, but through distant power pylons. The scenery immediately around the CL is lovely.  There is a great dog walk straight off the site.
