Great week at Sagres

We've just spent a week at this lovely site. Met by the owners and we requested a pitch off the normal pitching area. This was at the back of the site, where a few vans are stored. It was just perfect. It was an incredibly hot week and we were allowed to pitch exactly where we wanted to, under some shady trees. Beautifully cut grass with longer grass around the many trees for wildlife. We were the only campers in this area for the whole week and it was as if we were in our own little oasis. Very quiet and peaceful. Couple of good pubs a short drive or cycle away. Easy access to the New Forest and coast. The owners are very respectful of your privacy, but like a chat. Sampled some lovely sugar snaps from the garden. I would take any negative remarks in the comments with a pinch of salt. In my opinion this was everything I would expect from a CL. Would certainly return.

A very hot weekend!

A great site in a quiet lane but accessible to the main road. Very neat and tidy. Mr and Mrs Dovey were great hosts and recommended a super pub to eat at. Ideal spot for new forest ,hilliers gardens , broadlands montisfonte to name but a few. If you want peace and quiet this is a good site to choose.

Quiet and peaceful.

We have visited this site on many occasions, and have always found it kept very well. Lawned grounds are always tidy, a friendly wecome and a nice quiet site. There is hardly any traffic noise here, which, for me, is very important. We have always enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend this CL to anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful break.

Lovely little CL

We had 2 stays this year and enjoyed them both .The weather was fantastic and the cl is kept neatly mown.Mr & Mrs Dovey are a lovely and very helpful couple. We have booked already for next year .There are good Pubs serving good food a short drive away and within 10 minutes you can be in the New Forest. An ideal site if you want peace and quiet and don't need all Modern bells and whistles just how cl's used to be and we love it.

Stay

Just returned from an 8 nights stay, this is a very nice peaceful site, however the access is quite difficult down a very narrow single track lane with high hedges and a very tight Sharp left turn into the C.L.. The owners whilst pleasant informed us on our 2nd. day they only accept cash payments and told us where there was a cash machine and repeatedly asked us over the next few days if we had visited it !!!!!! On the positive side it's near Romsey.
