Avoid

Whole site needs cleaning and maintenance. Mainly seasonal tourers and statics who were friendly, but the lack of cleaning and poor upkeep of the site will prevent us from using again. For example the hand towels in the washrooms were not changed for at least a week.

Disappointed

Up to now the CLs I've used have been 'field' sites, this one is next to a static site, and I counted 6 pitches in the 'CL bit' both WCs have shower in same area (so to use the shower you have to lock the main door to WC as well). My campervan doesn't have a toilet which is why I picked this site, but both showers were in use when I need a toilet in the morning! Also the dog barks at you as you approach the WC, which made me jump first time, then became slightly irritating. Only used it for an overnight stop, but will find a different site next year.

Room for improvement

Site fairly easy to find and at first thought it would be peaceful but we found the noise of the dogs very loud although they did not bark at night. Toilet and shower facilities need updating and cleaning more thoroughly. We would not return to this site.

The Old Post Office Nr Hereford

We stayed on this site for 3 nights. Very convenient to Hereford and surrounding villages. Two toilets and 2 Showers. The one nearest the field smelt badly of urine. The window sills in both toilets had cobwebs and dead flies More attention needs to be paid to cleaning them. The owners were pleasant. There were barking dogs, but quiet at night. We thought that £15.00 was rather expensive for this CL.

Friendly site, slightly noisy.

A nice and friendly site which is slightly let down by the noise from the busy main road and barking dogs. There is a static site associated with the CL but the residents are friendly and no bother. The site is close to the lovely town of Hereford but I wouldn't recommend cycling as the main road could be dangerous and has no cycle path.
