Electricity

Hi been to site several time a little bit dear for no facility's just be aware we visited in winter the site was full i.e. Five vans arrived 1pm by 4 the electric went the owner said it's because we have five vans on site.Day after electric went again the owners had gone out for the day so no electric one person said it's gone every day so we packed up and went. If you go to this site ask if the cl is full your electric will trip and if the owner is not around you will just have to wait for him to come home. We will not be back definitely not worth £15

Our little bolt hole

Been visiting this CL at least twice a year for over 10 years David and Pamela are always very welcoming. We just think it's a gem. After all these years, we still find new things to see and do. You could never be bored with the variety of things to do in the area. The pitches are good with views over the fields. There is a builders merchants next door, but not intrusive Garstang is a lovely stroll by the canal, where there are pubs, cafes, small shops and supermarkets. Buses to Lancaster and Preston.

Perfect stop over

We spent one night on this CL on our way to Scotland. It's perfectly located, easy to find and easy to access. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and recommended an excellent pub for supper. It is ideal for a walk into Garstang along the canal and the views of the countryside are lovely. Don't let the neighbouring builder's yard put you off, you don't even know it's there and feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

We overnighted on this site at very short notice on Sunday 26th April and we will certainly be back again. What a very pleasant CL this is.
