A lovely week

Roseacre Cottage
An immaculately presented grassy site, slightly sloping, with a couple of hardstandings. The owners were wonderful, not intrusive but always ready for a chat. Water and waste at the top of the site, together with toilet, and a height-restricted barrier for added security. Lovely village nearby, with impressive floral displays, a community orchard and two pubs. We visited the Ship for a great meal. We ended up staying an extra night, and would not hesitate to return in the future.

Just Perfect

Roseacre Cottage
Stayed twice recently, first for six nights and the. Went back for another three. Very quiet location. Small toilet with WC, usual water/waste and EHU. Excellent TV reception. Some WiFi. Very well kept and Marshall, the owner was often about cutting the grass, trimming the hedges, sorting the recycling or just being around to offer a friendly, helpful hand. This site is on our doorstep and we will definitely be back. Vicki and co ….

Quiet location with lots of birdsong

Roseacre Cottage
We spoke to the owner Marshall several times while he was working around the site, he was friendly and helpful. Grass was nice and short and the surroundings tidy. Easy access to the Coast and Lake District and nice Farm Shop just along the road, serving cooked food until late afternoon and fresh meat and produce. Plenty of good places to eat nearby but think you would need to go by bike or car.

Another lovely stay

Roseacre Cottage
We returned for a second visit this year to a warm welcome from Marshall. Easy to book by e-mail. Access is good, there is plenty of choice where to pitch. The site is quiet with some traffic noise during the rush to and from work but during day and night nothing. Facilities easy to find and use. Excellent tv signal. EE, vodaphone and 3 phone coverage. Wifi available and on pitch opposite gate worked well.
