Why stay here ...

Oak Tree Fishery is a quiet and peaceful adult only site close to the villages of Haxey, Misterton, Epworth and Westwoodside which have all the facilities you would require and local pubs.

The CL site is surrounded by hedging and each pitch is hedged giving that little extra bit of privacy.  Our toilet facilities are modern and soon to be complete with showers.  There is also a disabled toilet.  Each pitch is supplied with 16amp electricity.

We are set on 10 acres of land complete with 2 of our own fishing lakes.  The main lake is primarily carp fishing and Snake Lake which resembles a canal is stocked with silverfish. Our lakes are available for match fishing and day fishing.

We also have 2 separate rally fields (1 acre and 3 acres in size) which cater for licenced caravan societies.

great weather good holiday felt like was being spied on

perfect site for a quiet stay with fishing on two well stocked lakes just a shame that you're being watched all the time, make one mistake and someone appears out of nowhere to tell you off making you feel like you're being watched all the time. Previous owner just left you to enjoy your stay Gary just watches you all day......shame really

Very Pleasant Weekend Break

We arrived in the snow and were met by Andy who was extremely obliging putting us onto a hardstanding for the weekend, my sister and brother in law joined us later in the evening and we had a very pleasant weekend at a very relaxing site. It could be easy to miss the turn into the location but the postcode was very accurate on the satnav. A toilet block and EHU is available, the toilet block was warm and kept clean. A lovely walk around the fishing lake and along the river was very nice on the Saturday and we were not disturbed at all during a fishing match on the Sunday. Down the road is the Haxey Gate pub, recommend the Sunday carvery but advisable to book. If you are looking for a chill out this spot is ideal, we shall be back soon.
