Convenient stop-over

There was only one other unit on the site so we had plenty of room but I can imagine it being tricky to manoeuvre when the site is full. The access into the site is also quite tight. The wetroom style shower is excellent and was spotless, as was the toilet. The site is behind the pub and next to the pub garden where we sat out for a drink....or two. We had a lovely meal at the other pub in the village, at busy times I'd recommend making a reservation. The site is close to the main coastal route. We wanted to take the dog for a run on the beach but parking at Snettersham beach seemed expensive for a short stay so we drove to Heacham beach where the pay & display is cheaper and there is some free on road parking.

Disappointing

My chief grounds for disappointment at this site was the lack of space around each van. No room to sit out and relax and no views. Larger vans found it difficult to manoeuvre.

Handy little site

Visited over the Easter break, tight little site and would take some maneuvering if you haven't got a motor mover or if you are not confident reversing your unit, i was lucky and manged to reverse without a problem as the pitch opposite was empty, Toilet and shower are cleaned to an inch of there lives which we found fantastic, nice little park for the kids to play in, we had a fantastic meal in the pub, great welcoming staff and locals, great food and drink and surprisingly not that expensive! Great for the coast and Hunstanton, Sandringham not to far away if you fancy the house or just a nice quite walk, No TV signal though, which aided our break and meant we didn't sit in watching the soaps! We will defiantly be coming back its a great little site, great value for money!!

4 Night Stay late August 2015

Four night stay. We found the pub with no problems it can be a bit of a squeeze if there are a lot of pub customer’s cars in the car park, If there are caravans on the site when you arrive you will need a motor mover to get your van on the pitch. The site is very small and can be muddy when it rain. The hard standings should have a grass area but the grass has been worn away to leave soil. The bushes ant trees could do with tidying up as they reduce the size of the pitch. The food and beer in the pub is good no complaints there. The staff are very nice as well. The whole site need a good tidy up, I don't think I would go back it is to cosy for comfit. No TV signal at all also can't get satellite because of the trees and bushes. The toilets and showers are cleaned every day. Overall very tight to get in and out also if there is an empty pitch it will get used as a car park. There are better sites for less in the area. There where dogs nearby and barking into the night.

Handy for Sunny Hunny

Seems a very popular little CL & the current landlord has obviously added a little TLC compared to several reviews in the past. The site does seem to get used as an overflow car park at times but this didn't spoil our stay. Pitches could probably do with an overhaul too as although they're hardstanding, would benefit from further tidying. Bus stop 2mins walk which we took into Hunstanton, fab walk along the front to the old lighthouse, where hot drinks/snacks welcome on a winters day + the attraction of a wood burning stove! 2nd pub in village looked very tempting for award winning ales & food but we decided to patronise our hosts which was VFM & couldn't complain. Separate toilet & shower on site very useful & clean. Would definitely return :-)
