Not what I expected

I am retired, single, quiet and with a tiny caravan. I use CLs because they are, normally, relaxed, unregimented and flexible. From the reviews,  I had expected this would be the case here. I was really looking forward to it.  However this was not my experience.  I will not be coming back.  The site is pretty and I am not questioning others' experience, I am just describing my own

Fantastic site

Fantastic site, easy to get to. Told where to park which was very pleasant. Owner helpful. One of the nicest sites we have stayed on. Would recommend.

Superb CL

I do not know where the Kershaw Family went but it was not this CL. Beautifully laid out in an orchard with clearly defined pitches.  Very friendly owner and lots of local information on a notice board.  The previous review is very unfair and doesn't reflect this CL.  We will definitely return.

Comment from Community Manager:

Many thanks for leaving a review. The CL owners have contacted us as they work hard to ensure members have an enjoyable time and as such wish to address your concerns. Please be assured they regularly maintain the site including making sure the grass is cut and is not too long. There are acres of dog friendly countryside for members to enjoy. The WiFi was published in error by The Club and was retracted in the August 2013 edition of The Club magazine. We apologise for the confusion this has caused. I hope this helps address your concerns and as you can see from other reviews this is a lovely site to stay on and the owners endeavour to make members feel welcome.

Very pleasant CL

We stayed one night on this CL. The caravans are pitched in an attractive garden area with fruit trees and open views. The site is in a very quiet location. There were notices on the site apologising for ongoing work in improving the site. We were told we could pitch anywhere. All in all, a pleasant place to stay.
