Why stay here ...

My one acre CL at Ebridge Farm has panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, it is backed on two sides by mixed woodland, to which we have a private entrance for walks with family and dogs.

The site itself is located on a large post and railed field, lawned with part hard standing with electrical hook-ups. The farm is adjacent to the recently restored North Walsham and Dilham Canal.

Local amenities include many sandy beaches (3 miles). Coarse fishing (1 miles), Norfolk Broads (4 miles). The sea front at Walcott (3 miles) is less than 50 meters from the sea, where there are cafes, traditional fish and chips and public houses. Sea fishing is allowed from the beach.

National Trust Properties including Blickling Hall (6 miles). Nationally acclaimed East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens (3 miles). The market town of North Walsham (2 miles), with two supermarkets, filling station and various fast food outlets. Historic city of Norwich (15 miles).

Our site has electric hook-ups, water on site and a chemical empyting point and please note that there is no maximum outfit length at this CL.

Suitable for motorhomes weather permitting.

A week at Ebridge Farm CL

This site is set amongst beautiful, rolling farmland and has the impressive, free-to-roam Bacton Wood as its backdrop. Horses graze in the paddocks nearby and we saw a fox, several squirrels and rabbits on the site. There is much birdlife and at night we heard Tawney Owls screeching and hooting close by. We were there during an Indian Summer heatwave in September 2016 and we were able to sit out and admire the views. The pitches are reasonably level and water, hook-ups, waste disposal etc were easily available, tidy and well-maintained. The site is reasonably placed for visits to the coast (5 miles) and the Broads etc. North Walsham is only a couple of miles away with banks, shops etc. We really loved this site.

Spring Visit

The site is a rather uneven field which is accessed straight off the road, and lies over 100 yds away from the farm/riding stables. There is one hardstanding pitch which appears to be the base of a couple of demolished farm building. The directions state that the site is at the top of the hill, past the mill, but it is in fact half way up the hill, immediately before the start of the forest that backs the site. The forest is ideal for walking and is also good for those who cycle, with some grand single tracks for the mountain bike enthusiast. There is a new Lidl and a Waitrose at North Walsham, close by, and the nearest N/T properties are Blickling Hall, Fellbrigg Hall and Horsey Windpump. The coast is not far away with plenty of fine beaches. We only saw the owner when we called at the house on our arrival and when we paid for our stay.
