Why stay here ...

Conveniently located less than 1 mile from the A47 but benefiting from a picturesque and peaceful rural location, the site is based on a small working farm and surrounded by beautiful countryside right in the heart of Norfolk.

Children are welcome and will particularly enjoy the goats roaming the neighbouring field and the nearby childrens’ play areas at Honingham and Colton Village Halls (each 0.7 miles).

Pitches are lawned with electric hook-up available and free wifi. There is a farm shop on site selling goats’ cheese and meat, eggs, honey and local, seasonal produce. Pub less than 1 mile, village store and post office 2 miles. With quiet country lanes and footpaths, the area is ideal for cycling and walking. Pitches have access to shared wet room and laundry facilities as well as a games room with a ping pong table and assorted games.

If you choose to visit Fieldings in the Summer, you may be able to take advantage of our wood fire pizza evenings, held from the beginning of June to the end of August, on the first and third Fridays of the month.

An excellent base to explore the local area, Fieldings is just 10 miles west of Norwich with its’ stunning Cathedral, Castle and fantastic shopping and restaurants (bus stop 0.3 mile, buses to Norwich every hour). Barnham Broom Golf Club & Spa are just 2 miles away, and the Norfolk Showground and Longwater Retail Park with large supermarket 4 miles. Further afield, you will find the historic market town of Wymondham with it’s C12th Abbey (13 miles), the scenic Norfolk Broads (16 miles), and both the stunning Norfolk coastline and Royal Sandringham are within an hours’ drive.

Excellent site

We stayed at this lovely little site for three nights this September. The site is very peaceful. The pitches are next to the goats' field and you would never know they were there. The owners run a goats cheese factory, and there is a shop on site to buy the products and other local produce. There is the opportunity to attend a cheese making course, if your dates coincide. Easy to find, but down a single lane road so caution is required should you have a large outfit. The site is ideally situated to visit Norwich and the Norfolk Coast. We visited Cromer and bought some fresh crab which was delicious. The owners were very friendly and have plenty of information should you wish it. We enjoyed cycling around the country lanes, and admiring the nearby properties. Would recommend this site, and will hopefully return.

Fantastic little cl

Just enjoyed 4 nights at Fieldings, situated just north of Norwich and close to the A47 it's very convenient for the showground. It has 2 wet rooms which are very clean and a games rooms with table tennis and a selection of games which were very handy for the kids. The owners were very helpful and really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be visiting again....

July Summer Holidays.

We stayed onsite for 10 nights recently. The facilities are the best we have seen on any CL. The wet rooms are especially good, better than anything we've seen. We were provided with lots of information on the site and the surrounding area which was more detailed than most CAMC site info. We never met the owners but the other family members kept in contact with us and were there if we needed anything. The laundry facilities were also well used during our stay and they're free so a welcome bonus on a long stay. The Goat Shed farm shop was also very handy for ice creams, eggs and goats milk. The only improvement I would suggest is regarding the pizza night last Friday. We were told by the family that the local people attending would be asked to keep a distance from our pitches. This wasn't supervised very well and we had a lot people showing little or know respect for our pitch area. Footballs were also being used close to caravans again unsupervised. The pizza night was our last night but overall we would recommend this site to anyone and we will hopefully return in the future.

Great facilities and location for Norwich

Great little site with the best CL facilities we have come across. Nice games room, two wet room showers and toilets, as good as a club site! Free wifi was a great little bonus too. We stayed a couple of night to visit Norwich and surroundings, easy access to Norwich city centre with a nice bus ride, returning in the evening to watch the goats in the neighbouring field. Will visit again.

Lovely site.

Lovely little site with imaculate facilities. Entertained by the antics of the goats in the next field. Ideal base for visiting Norwich and the Norfolk Broads. Would definitely recommend and would go again if in the area. Sam was very friendly and helpful.
