Why stay here ...

The Wallington Family welcome you to come and stay in our beautiful orchard. Only a 5 minute drive from the motorway, but when you arrive, you will feel as if you were deep in the countryside. We are 1 mile away from a lovely dog-friendly sandy beach, which is where we often take our cocker spaniels, Lucy and Molly, or Weston Woods is a wonderful walk with a fantastic children's play area hidden away. Bristol, Wells, Taunton, Cheddar and Clarkes Village are all about or less than a 40 minute drive. Weston beach, with its Grand Pier and Tourist Attractions is 3 miles away. Our location is 0.5 mile away from a Pub, Village Shop, and Bus Stop. We have various National Trust Attractions nearby, from coastal walks such as Sand Point and Brean Down, to beautiful estates such as Tyntesfield.

Since moving to Home Farm in Oct 2012, we have replaced the fencing and electrical posts, installed better water and waste facilities and created more hardstanding pitches for Motorhomes. Please note, we have also created a small Nature Reserve and a lovely Duck Pond in the Orchard, which is unfenced (just so Mums, Dads and Grandparents are aware in case you have young explorers!). Our site is peaceful and quiet - on clear evenings the stars are breathtaking and only disturbed by an owl hooting or a badger walking by the pond. Fire Pits are available to hire for those who can't resist sitting around a glowing campfire. We like to have an easy-going, relaxed site and want you to enjoy your holiday at Home Farm as much as we love living here so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or would like to book.

A real Gem !

Okay, the bank holiday weather helped, but this is a fantastic CL. The welcome was great, very helpful in pointing stuff out and then left us to it. This really is a great little place, a lovely orchard in front of the farm house, really well maintained with good services. The owners parents (owners were away), could't have been more helpful. They give you a small pack with lots of info in it, and you just return this when you leave. A sunny evening, under the ash tree with a chilled glass of white wine, it really was idyllic. Easy to find, no real narrow lanes etc. Yes you get some aircraft overhead but it isn't intrusive, and Sand Bay (dog friendly all year) isn't far away.

What a site, WOW

We have just come back from 7 nights at Home Farm. The family that run this site are hard working and take lots of pride in their site, the place was spotless. The pitches are very stable and you get a good choice when you arrive. There is plenty of space for kids to play in. eggs and jam/honey available on site. Bins emptied 3 or 4 times a day. If you visit you will be given a warm welcome from the family and you will enjoy peace and quiet (except for the local Rooster). Rebecca is already asking when we will be back. Thanks Sally and the gang.

A peaceful site

We've stayed at this site quite a number of times - why I've not reviewed it before is a bit of a mystery! It really is a great get away site. Easy access from the motorway. Great to walk down to the sea front and stroll along the path towards Weston-super-Mare. The Chinese take-away along this way has now changed hands and is now just a chippy - wasn't that brilliant anyway! Carry on up the hill and you will come across the New Castle restaurant. This is lovely place to eat & drink. From here there is the access to the woods that have a footpath leading to Birnbeck Pier & and onto Weston-super-Mare seafront. Walk to the right and stop at the little cafe (does gf scones) and on to Sand Point - well worth the effort. If you fancy an easy option just walk to Sand Bay front and catch an open top bus to Weston-super-Mare, lovely. There are a lot of out of town retail outlets around the area between the motorway and the site - including Sainsburys if you like to stock up before arrival. There is also Davans Caravan Sales & Spares just off the motorway, on the right.

Excellent CL.

Staying here at moment. Its the first time we have visited this site and its the best CL we have stayed at. Good directions from owner, do not use sat. navigation to approach, even the caravan club one as it takes you to wrong address . Beautifully lawn ed orchard.Very spacious pitches. Picnic tables, ornamental pond and produce on site for members benefit. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Will be booking again before we leave. A credit to both owners and caravan club.
