Why stay here ...

Old Pasture Park

We are a family run working farm situated approximately six miles south of York just outside the tranquil village of Stillingfleet. The site has unrivalled farmland views with a stunning backdrop of Long Rush Wood. Old Pasture Park offers a wide variety of services including agricultural contracting, a stunning spring/summer wedding venue, beautiful seasonal cut flowers and a recently established caravan park for those who like to escape to the heart of the countryside.

The park has its own lake, which is not available for fishing, but is a perfect setting around which to walk your dog whilst being able to observe some of the wildlife that use the area as their habitat including ducks, oyster catchers and moorhens. Indeed these are not the only animals to be seen on site. Being a working farm, this CL (Certificated Location) site has a medium sized herd of suckler cows with calves that graze in the fields surrounding the park in the summer months.

The CL site has well spaced electrical hook up and water points and is distanced well away from any roads. Spacious (7.5x9m) hard-standing pitches (4) and 1 grass pitch provides enough room for awnings. Grey water and chemical disposal units are available in addition to general waste and recycling bins. For your safety and security the farm has CCTV and an electric gate upon entry. Security details will be provided on completion of booking.

Our regularly updated website and social media pages show the beauty of the park throughout the seasons. A unique and secluded setting, Old Pasture Park is a hidden gem set in a stunning and captivating part of North Yorkshire.

Beautiful site

Just arrived home after spending 6 nights at this lovely site. The site is Fully serviced, Very flat and well maintained. You have a choice of hard or grass pitches. The pitches are large and well spaced out. Sam welcomed us as soon as we arrived to explain where things were. The dog field is great, very large to give your dog lots of room to run around off the lead. Outside the site is a bus stop which takes you straight into York. Thank you Sam for making us feel very welcome.

Old Pasture Park CL,Stillingfleet

We arrived at this site on 24th October for 1 week.It was a wonderful experience and the family were so pleasant and helpful with everything.I would recommend it to anyone. Our dogs enjoyed going for walks around the field and Sam made them very welcome. We would love to visit again when things get better and visits are allowed again.

Our 1st ever CL !!!

My husband and I have just spent 7 nights at this beautiful little site. It's located within the confines of a working farm but the farmyard, however, remains stunningly clean and tidy. There are several places for a long walk very close by, which we needed as we travel with two young dogs. The grounds, once outside of the actual farmyard, are immaculately kept with a small picturesque lake. Sam, who runs this CL, and the rest of his family are immensely helpful and friendly without being 'in your face'. Stuart and I would recommend this site 100%. We WILL be back !!

Best CL site we have ever stayed at

We stayed at this site for 7 days and could not fault it, Other CL site owners could learn a lot from this site. The setting was quiet, the land was level, spacious, with plenty of water/waste/electric connections situated all around the site. Sam and the other Atkinson family made you very welcome, friendly and obviously proud of the site and the added bonus of the lake. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Old Pasture Park to other members, it's just a shame it's so far away from our home location as we would use it on a regular basis.

Fabulous Site

We have been fortunate enough to have just spent 9 nights at this excellent CL. On arrival we were greeted by Sam who invited us to choose our pitch from a selection of either grass or hardstanding pitches. We opted for hardstanding, which also benefitted from being fully serviced. The site is beautifully maintained and is so well organised and pristine that you could be forgiven for not realising that you are staying on a working farm, just with the exception of the cattle who come into the next field during the late afternoon, providing entertainment with their antics! All aspects of the site are just perfect, which is further complimented by taking a walk around the lake. An information hut is also available and provides a photographic record of the development of the site. We will be back in the future.
