Why stay here ...

Nestled right in the heart of beautiful Northumberland, two miles from the picturesque beaches, Pippins Park is an ideal base for discovering this historic county. Adults, children and pets are all welcome. The site itself is located in the paddock adjoined to Pippins Walk. All pitches are hard standing with electrical hook ups.

A new CL site for 2016, it enjoys close proximity to the market town of Alnwick which includes Alnwick Castle, Treehouse restaurant and Gardens. Alnwick offers supermarkets, leisure facilities, shopping and restaurants. Equally close is Bamburgh Castle and coastline and both locations are renowned for their historic settings and their beauty makes them exciting to discover.

Travel further inland you will find Cragside, a National Park with the first manor house to have electricity.

Explore quaint fishing villages, sample fresh fish suppers and delight in evocative coastal scenery. Walk Hadrian's Wall, the inspiration for Game of Thrones and discover some of the best preserved Roman forts in the country.

A credit to the network

We visited mid July following a holiday cancellation to Santorini for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We were grateful for a cancellation and having stayed here before knew what to expect. We were not disappointed. A lot of time and effort has gone into making this one of the most picturesque sites on the CL network. Add to that the friendliness of the owners and attention to detail. Then look what is within walking distance over the fields to the sea and you have the perfect location, be it short or long stay. Finally, a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. Along with most other contributors, we will be back. Thank you.

Perfect location, beautifully presented site

Friendly hosts, and a well organised CL in a great location for the Northumberland coast. Easy walk across fields to the village of Embleton, dunes, beaches and on to Dunsterburgh Castle. Spacious pitches and large open grassy space in the middle gives a completely uncrowded feel. We'll be back, thank you.

Lovely stay on this very well looked after site

Stayed here for the last week and have had an amazing holiday! The site is very easy to find and has a good entrance. The pitches are a great size and lots of space in between. Very peaceful, there is a train line close to the site but it didn't bother us and our 2 year old loved watching them go past and hearing them beep! Definitely would book here again if we came back to the area.

Super cl site.

Presently stopping here at Pippins park at Christon bank. The site is very well kept, and well maintained. There is slight road noise but it is not a problem at all.We find it good fun when we here the train horn sound and guessing which way its coming.Great views and walk to Embleton from the site.Halfway between Seahouses and Alnwick the site is perfect for both. The coastal resorts of Low newton Craister easy access. Thus place is a gem.We will be back.

Lovely Site

A great time spent here the site is kept very clean and site owners are very nice people. A few trains but that helps to add to the charm of this delightful site. Lots of places to visit. Very relaxing. If I was in the area again I would not hesitate to book here.
