Equally close is Bamburgh Castle and coastline and both locations are renowned for their historic settings and their beauty makes them exciting to discover.

Travel further inland you will find Cragside, a National Park with the first manor house to have electricity.

Super cl site.

Presently stopping here at Pippins park at Christon bank. The site is very well kept, and well maintained. There is slight road noise but it is not a problem at all.We find it good fun when we here the train horn sound and guessing which way its coming.Great views and walk to Embleton from the site.Halfway between Seahouses and Alnwick the site is perfect for both. The coastal resorts of Low newton Craister easy access. Thus place is a gem.We will be back.

Lovely Site

A great time spent here the site is kept very clean and site owners are very nice people. A few trains but that helps to add to the charm of this delightful site. Lots of places to visit. Very relaxing. If I was in the area again I would not hesitate to book here.

Lovely CL

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Easter. Very clean and tidy site. Friendly and helpful owners. Excellent walk with dogs across fields to Embleton where there are great pubs and a very good shop / post office. Walk to beach at Embleton took 40 mins but a welcoming golf club house provided refreshments prior to walking on beach. Parking at golf club also possible. Embleton Bay beach is breathtaking especially at low tide. Enjoyed visiting Alnwick, Craster and Seahouses. We plan to return.

Lovely CL

We received a warm, friendly welcome from John the owner of this lovely, well laid out CL. It’s all hard standing pitches with EHU, and easy accessible for water, waste and the chemical waste. We only stayed for 1 night on route south but would stay here again as it’s ideally situated for visiting Northumberland. Yes the trains pass by quite often, but they didn’t bother us as we quite enjoyed watching them go by.

Without trains it would be perfect

Beautifully kept site and a wealth of tourist information. Get your welcome notice written up on the board and make yourself at home. Blink Bonny walkable even in dark with a dog... but daytime walk across the fields to Embletonto Craster to Low Newton all with greats pubs and food.Excellent for visiting Bamburgh Seahouses Alnwick Berwick. Been twice this month as we love it so much. Only downside is noise of mainline trains, but once you get used to it, it’s fine and they only run from 7am to 10pm.
