Beauty spot

This place is like a little park. Massive pitches with an area of woodland and water lodges behind where you can stroll round. Toilets are clean, good showers. Locked gate. Friendly owners. Would recommend Thank you

Beautiful and relaxing.

Been to this site twice now and will return. It's a lovely, quiet and pretty little site. Great for walking the dogs and Husband said the fishing was good. Friendly owners that are interested in your views of the site as they're looking to improve it as it's not been running long. Powerful showers. Best of all its adult only!

Great little site, with easy approach, and good position if staying longer

Overnight only, this time, so we cannot rate the site completely, but our first impressions are very positive. We arrived to a locked gate, but a text to Jo, soon got the combination , and we were on pitch, trying to find a satellite signal, so my wife could rest, while i went fishing in the lovely lake. That took a bit of moving, before we parked alongside the road and acquired the best signal. No one else arriving that day, so we did not give inconvenience. Toilet and shower adequate for us, with very hot water.

Beautiful little gem

This was our first time here and only decided to go as friends of ours had already booked and we hadn’t seen them in a while. I dealt with Jo mainly by email but did call her to finalise the booking and she was very helpful and friendly. I was the first van on site this weekend and we pitched up on our chosen pitch which was spacious and level as are all of them. We decided to pay via bank transfer as we don’t often carry cash so that was done before we arrived. As everyone else has said the site is very pretty and plenty of walks around it. You would need proper footwear for wet days as it’s not a gravel path but that’s due to it being a conservation area. The whole site had a rustic feel to it yet catered to every need. We thouroughly enjoyed it and no doubt will return.

Loads of space......

This CL is great, you wouldn't think you were so close to the big city of Nottingham as it has a countryside vibe to it. There is a cut through road aside and as with all roads on occasion some vehicles will appear to be speeding but honestly the road did not disturb us one bit. There's a ton of space to pitch up and between vans. It's gated with a secure code so no worries about anyone coming in that shouldn't be there. The shower block is spacious and the showers run hot water at good pressure. There's a small lake/pond you can stroll around with your dog on a lead as there is wildlife to consider; this gave a peaceful ambience. We will return as we have family in the area. Visited Clumber Park (NT) on a wet day to have lunch but will definitely go back on a brighter day with our bicycles.
