A great little site for quiet, great stopover

We stayed here a couple of single nights on our way down south, and back up north. It was easy to find off the M40, and the access is convenient and simple. The site has a lovely slightly slopped grass field, with lovely views, and privacy, there is also a small gravel/grass area accessed straight off the drive, which is super convenient for quick stopovers. Both have EHU, and there is a simple toilet on the edge of the field. We received a friendly welcome on both occasions, and will certainly be adding this site to our 'one to use again' list, especially when travelling on long journeys south.

Basic but ok for overnight

We booked this site as an overnight stop over and it was quite satisfactory. The site is quite basic with EHU, water and a small toilet shed. The grass area is fairly uneven however the hard standing is much better. The owner was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. I would recommend the site for anyone wanting easy access into Bicester. The site directions are a little difficult to follow from the M40 as there are more roundabouts than stated.

A wonderful find, great for a stop over as we used it for but would definitely consider staying longer next time, thank you for your hospitality

Nothing was too much trouble.

Having read earlier reviews regarding noise from Church Groups we were almost prompted not to try this site and what a shame that would have been. Joe and his wife were kindness itself, nothing was too much trouble for them including pulling our motorhome to a drier part of the site when needed. Joe's wife also was kind enough to lend us maps and local walks guides/ For the price paid this was excellent value. There were no conflicting activities during our stay in April, the grass was cut, the toilet was spotless and the views were great. A very peaceful and enjoyable stay. The nearest pub in Marsh Gibbon was a 10 minute cycle ride.
