CL review

Andersey Farm
It is an ideal location for an overnight stop, when travelling North/South on the A34. The site is easy to access, just turn left after entering the farm entrance. Field is flat but a little bumpy, so drive slowly. All essentials are easy to access. Got a warm welcome from the owner, would use it again.

A field in the country

Andersey Farm
This is the most basic or, depending upon taste, simple CL that we’ve used. We found the site easily enough and spotted the CL sign once we entered the farm. The CL is a field of grass that appears to be cut as need arises. The water supply and waste facilities are all situated near the entrance to the field. EHU runs along the side of the field which gives v nice views of a field. Owing to the poor ground conditions following all the rain that had fallen in May we were concerned about getting stuck as rain was forecast and we departed after two of the three nights we were due to stay. The surrounding countryside is v pleasant and we enjoyed a walk to some picturesque nearby villages. Wantage is nearby and we’ll worth visiting. However getting there by foot or bike means a long walk or cycle along main roads. The owner was welcoming and helpful.

Great find

Andersey Farm
Our Daughter lives nearby in Marcham so we needed a site close to her, we were very pleased with the site ,quiet, secluded and well kept. The parking areas are on grass, fortunately it was dry as we have a motorhome. We were given the choice of parking on a gravel area if we wanted to. We met With the Lady of the farm who was very helpful and informative. We will be returning in the future. recommended

Rural stop over

Andersey Farm

We love the rustic charm of CL sites and this one did not disappoint although the grass is clearly cut infrequently and it was a bit like pitching up in a hayfield for our 2 night stop over. Good access with level pitches and some local traffic but this was not an issue for us. Free range eggs for sale on adjoining farm about 500m further down the lane. Confirm there is a cattery adjoining the CL but no sight or sound of any 'guests' at time of writing.
