Bridgnorth Certificated Locations

Bridgnorth in Shropshire was once one of the busiest ports in the country, but it is now all together a more peaceful place.

The famous Severn River runs throughout the heart of the small town and divides it into two sections – the High Town and the Low Town.

In order to link the two parts, the Victorians built the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway. This funicular railway still operates and makes the journey around 150 times every day.

For those who prefer a stroll, then the ancient Cartway is a must. After reaching the top, visitors can enjoy a delightful view of the town, as well as the Castle Keep - which may lean more than the Tower of Pisa.
