Why stay here ...
We would like to welcome you to our peaceful site on Clee Hill, surrounded by Catherton Common wildlife reserve. The fabulous views and tranquil setting ensure a peaceful stay with only the local wildlife and our friendly herd of alpacas as company. Views to the east towards the Midlands are beautiful by day and provide distant illumination by night. In the opposite direction the hills of Titterstone and Brown Clee provide a dramatic backdrop.
Although quiet, the site is well located for walking and cycling as we are on the common and it is easy to walk further up Clee Hill and take in the views over several counties.
Situated in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty it is also within easy reach of numerous other attractions such as the medieval town of Ludlow renowned for its food culture and castle; Bewdley and Bridgnorth; the Safari Park at Bewdley and the Wyre Forest. Church Stretton with its access to further walking is also nearby. Lovely market towns such as Tenbury Wells are close by, as is the famous bridge at Ironbridge, as well as Much Wenlock, the home of the modern Olympic Games.
Being close to the border with Wales this also makes a peaceful stop-over for those traveling further afield.
