Cleobury Mortimer golf club is the perfect spot for CL members. Set on the stunning 27 holes golf course with views of the golf course and nestled in the beautiful Shropshire country side along the Wye Forrest. The site itself is located on a lawned area with electrical hook ups and space for awnings, tables and chairs etc. All CL guests also get free use of the clubhouse facilities for showers, changing facilities and toilets. The bar and restaurant area is also available with free WI/FI to all customers.
The site is an excellent base for exploring South Shropshire and its surrounding areas. Cleobury offers fine walking through upland and woodland scenery for all tastes and abilities, explore our extensive footpaths network maintained by 3 active volunteer groups. Take your own walk using 30 self guided leaflets (many of which start from the golf club) which cater for all abilities Take a walk through 700 million years of geological time on the Geopark Way from Highley to Bewdley Join the Shropshire Way on Clee Hill and meet the Worcestershire and Severn Ways near Arley.

Founded in July 1993, Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club has rapidly become one of the most popular golf courses in the Midlands. It is recognised as the premier golf course in Shropshire and Worcestershire with excellent conditions all year round to accompany our excellent practice facilities.The Wyre Suite overlooks the golf course and is the perfect venue to host a corporate golf day, wedding or party. With the capacity to hold one hundred diners it is the perfect venue. CL site users can look forward to discounted fees when booking tee times to play golf.
Cleobury high street is a five minute car journey or a twenty five minute walk, here you will a small supermarket but also many small independent shops including a baker, cafe, newsagents. Cleobury also has many places to eat and drink for all tastes from traditional pub food to Indian and Chinese. The pubs serve fantastic real ale with the famous Hobson's brewery just off the high street. Slightly further afield you have the West Midlands Safari Park (twenty minutes) and the medieval town of Ludlow (eighteen minutes).
The shower and toilet are available from dawn to dusk, please ask on site for a more precise time.

Ludlow Castle is a ruin nestled in the glorious Shropshire Hills at the heart of Ludlow. This has been the home to a number of Kings and Queens including Prince Arthur and Catherine of Aragon, as well as the Parliament of the Welsh Marches. Towers and ramparts are all easily accessible and the Castle hosts several annual festivals.
