A Relaxing Stay

Merry Farm
We stayed on this lovely flat site along side the River Brue with up to date toilet and shower facilities in September. Between the site and river there is a narrow road which leads to another site but was not a problem for us. There are plenty of dog walking areas . It is possible to do recycling in the appropriate bins. In Highbridge there are ASDA and ALDI supermarkets and Highbridge caravans with 10% discount on accessories if you show you CMHC membership card. Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare are not too far away with the NT car park at Sand Bay. We ate at the 'Admirals Table' in Bridgewater (owned by Marstons) where good food was served.

Fantastic Find

Merry Farm
What a fantastic find. We have just returned from a fortnight's holiday at Merry Farm and will be returning. The site is clean, tidy and well maintained. You have your own drinking water tap on your pitch and WiFi (which when you are taking 3 teenagers away with you is a must). The on site owners were friendly, approachable and happy to help in anyway needed. The site is also close to local attractions, so all in all just what we were looking for.

Good place to stop for 1 night

Merry Farm
used this as a stop over on route to Devon. The 3 acres in the book is misleading. There may be 3 acres, if not more, but not for the CL site which was disappointing. Decent toilet, shower, chemical disposal points. Road running through site to access another caravan site which also was not expected. Well maintained grass, lovely owner but overall a bit disappointing unfortunately :( August 2016

Poor Booking System

Merry Farm
I attempted to stay at this CL on Friday 29/07/2016 after using the booking system and paying on their website. When I arrived at the CL the owner was surprised to see me and informed me that the online booking system should have been disabled and they didn't know I had booked. But once checking they found I had paid and gave me a refund. This meant I had no site to stay at on a very busy weekend and I was hours from home. I went to another site just up the road and they had no availability either. But they also informed me that this had happened a few times before to other people at that site!. So I find this situation unacceptable considering that it had happened to other people beforehand. They have now removed the booking system from the site. Which should have been done before I booked so I didn't waste a journey.

A nice find

Merry Farm
We booked this CL as we were travelling up from Cornwall to part exchange our caravan for a new one from Highbridge Caravans.  We booked for three nights over the Easter weekend so that we could have a couple of days trying out the new caravan.  The site was easy to find and the owners welcoming and helpful.  Although situated next to a lane leading to another caravan site, there seemed to be very little traffic whilst we were there.  The grass was cut and all looked very presentable.  I always uses the caravan facilities but, if available, my husband will use the site facilities. He reported that  the toilet and shower had obviously been updated since the last reviews and were clean and to a good standard with heating.  The site itself was well situated for visiting local attractions.  Whilst staying we visited Glastonbury, Wells & Weston-Super-Mare.
