Tuckers Batch
Tuckers Batch cl is a wonderful find. An off grid partly sloping grass site in a fairly quiet setting. The owner was extremly helpful and friendly in directing us to the site and also on arrival. The waste and fresh water area is very tidy. From the site you can walk to the village of Charlton Adam which has character properties to look at and a post office/village store open daily 8-1300 , Sunday 10-12, a little further on there is the Fox and hounds pub with garden serving food 12-1500 and 1730 - 2100 ? Drink served all day from 12. Opposite the site 150 paces is a lane called Ridgeway Lane track and if you follow this for approx 15 mins you will come to a post with a red line / marker around it turn right here and you will be at Lytes Cary Manor NT in no time at all. This track is great for dog walking. We had a lovely stay.
