Over and above the call of duty

Water Buffalo Farm
We have just returned from a week’s holiday at this lovely site. We visited Haynes Motor Museum, The RN Museum Yeovilton, Sherbourne and it’s Castle, Montecute House and Ham Hill before falling victim to a pothole on a walk. Jayne couldn’t have been more helpful and sympathetic for which we are eternally grateful. If you like an active holiday, this is an area with lots to do on the doorstep. Once again, many thanks

Beautiful water buffalo

Water Buffalo Farm
Delightful site and owner Jayne. Curious water buffalo calves came to greet us in adjoining field. Basic site, water, EHU elsan. Also farm shop selling tasty water buffalo products. Lovely, would come again.

Nice site, pity there were no buffalo

Water Buffalo Farm
We used this site as an overnight stop on our way to Cornwall. It was an excellent choice. A friendly and warm welcome, nice tidy site, very peaceful. Unfortunately there were no buffalo to be seen, which was a bit of a disappointment. Apparently they were elsewhere on another farm. We bought some steak, sausages, burgers from the farm shop which were very nice. I think we will go back some time and spend a bit longer and explore the surrounding area a bit.

Perfect for a stop over and longer stays.

Water Buffalo Farm
We stopped at West Country Water Buffallo Farm for one night on our way to a wedding. We would certainly go back. The site is level with electricity and water on each pitch. The welcome was friendly. On site there is a farm shop selling the best buffalo steaks we have tasted. After stocking up on more delicious products, burgers, mozerella, buffalo ice-cream, we were ready to leave. We visited Fleet Airarm Museum, which is only 3 miles away. I would certainly reccomend this site for short or longer stays.

Fantastic little site

Water Buffalo Farm
This site is an absolute delight. Lovely warm welcome on arrival and given loads of information for local dog walking areas away from the working farm. The pitches are generous and on mainly even ground. It is a beautiful experience to see the water buffalo gracefully walking the fields. The produce is incredible and available at the site farm shop. We had the most succulent steaks imaginable and the burgers in a class of their own! I would highly recommend anyone to stay here for a wonderful, relaxing foodie experience that is worth every penny. It is a charming small site and a credit to the owners.
