Why stay here ...
Lowlands CL is located in a quiet Broadland village among open countryside and is within walking distance of the old market town of Beccles which is on the picturesque banks of the river Waveney. Our CL is suitable for long stays. We welcome and are able to accommodate vans of all sizes on spacious, unrestricted level grass pitches with easy access through a private rear entrance. This adult only site provides EHU, free WiFi, water, grey and chemical disposal point and a heated toilet/shower cabin. Well behaved dogs are accepted.
The village has a local pub serving wholesome home cooked food and a hairdressers salon and is renown for it's numerous scenic walking and cycling paths and routes through uninterrupted peaceful country lanes and bridleways. Excellent transport links via public transport are within a short distance and offer regular services to the award winning beaches of Lowestoft and Southwold, the historic city of Norwich with its cobbled quaint side streets and various market towns. Nearby coarse fishing, golf, boat hire, canoeing, kayaking, shooting, museums and nature reserves make this a most appealing and convenient position to spend quality relaxing times.

Couldn't want for more
Lowlands CL
Many thanks to Andre and Judith we had a wonderful holiday. The grass is mown regularly the toilet and shower were always immaculate. The information room has plenty to offer. Bus stop within walking distance to visit places as far away as Southwold and Norwich plus many more destinations. A must place to return. Many thanks, Judith and Peter

Every aspect of the site and facilities are excellent. Great location with bus services within minutes from the site giving connections to explore the area. The owner was very welcoming we will definitely return.

Lovely small site
Lowlands CL
Just had a lovely long weekend at Lowlands. The site is beautifully maintained and very secure. the toilet and shower facility were cleaned regularly throughout the day with plentiful hot water. It had been raining hard before our arrival so the site was a little 'boggy' in parts but Andre met us on arrival and directed us to a dry spot and made sure we were all settled in safely.
We walked into Beccles through the fields and along the river with our dog - this took about 40 mins and then walked back along the road (pavement all the way) which took around 20 mins. We also called in to the Swan motel pub for a drink and were made very welcome. We also visited Framlington Castle , Leiston Abbey and Dunwich Beach (very dog friendly),
If I were pushed the only thing I would suggest that could improve the Lowlands site would be the provision of a pot washing up facility - but this really wasn't a major issue .
I would certainly recommend the site to others
Exceptional CL
Lowlands CL
We have recently returned from our second trip to this wonderful CL. It was just as excellent as we remembered! From the warm welcome given by Andre and Judith (freshly laid hens eggs in hand) to the pitch layout, thoughtfully furnished information shed, spotless toilet and shower, and accessibility to Beccles and further. We walked, cycled, went on a boat down the river and generally made the most of the lovely quiet site and area. There is so much to do and explore. The week went far too quickly. We have already booked for next year and simply cannot recommend Lowlands CL highly enough.

Just spent another fantastic stay at Lowlands cl. Cant praise Judith and Andre enough. These lovely people run one of our favorite sites. This site is kept immaculate at all times. Beautifully clean shower and toilet. Lovely site for visiting Norfolk and Suffolk just up the road from the pretty little town of Beccles. The welcome we receive from Judith and Andre is some thing else. Highly recommend a visit you wont be disappointed. Camping at its best. Mick and Helen
