Beccles is situated on the banks of the River Waveney in Suffolk, at the southern tip of the

Broads, which is to all intents and purposes a national park.

This makes it a perfect destination for those who enjoy spending time on boats or walking by the waterside, either on the river or on the Broads themselves. While the town holds an annual regatta, there is no bad time to come and enjoy the area's picturesque charms.
