Rugby Certificated Locations
The market town of Rugby lies in Warwickshire, close to the River Avon. Its biggest claim to fame is being the birthplace of the sport rugby, which happened when a local schoolboy picked up a football and ran with it.
As they say, the rest is history and you can check out the story at the Webb Ellis Rugby Football Museum during your trip. Balls are still made there to this day.
Other Rugby highlights include walking tours around town, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum for Roman exhibits, Ryton Gardens for wildlife and Draycote Water for walking and cycling.
You can also shop at the Clock Tower precinct and eat out at one of Rugby's scores of pubs, restaurants and cafes, which cater for all tastes and appetites.
