Fantastic CL!

We were just looking for a weekend stop over for the Rugby Bike Fest but stumbled upon this absolute gem! They say that you find the best things when your not actually looking for them and this is certainly true of Magpie Lodge Farm. 1/4 mile from the A5 and ten minutes from the centre of Rugby, this beautifully maintained and virtually bowling green flat CL, is adjacent to a high welfare, conservation focused farm, which offers a warm welcome from owners Robert and Jenny Spencer and even the possibility of a guided tour, which our two girls absolutely loved. Rugby Bike Fest can also be recommended and we are already hoping to return next year!

Basic site, water and waste only.

Good flat, peaceful site. Open so solar panels work well. Low cost, no facilities.

One More Real CL

We wanted to stay near Coventry. We are equipped as a proper tourer, we can go for months without the need for electricity and that does not mean we need a generator either. This site is neat, tidy, convenient, nice views and reasonably priced. We certainly do not want to pay for electricity, toilet blocks etc. that we do not need or ever use. Thank goodness for the remaining few basic CL's, they were why we joined the Club 20 years ago. Unfortunately our Club fails to meet our needs in many regions now.

Excellent CL

This was our first stay at magpie lodge farm, we were delighted on first entry to the site how flat and clean cut the grass was, the views the site has to offer is excellent and the facility's and water point area are very clean and tidy. We met the owner on Saturday and she organised a farm tour which was excellent considering there a working farm, there hospitality is outstanding and this CL site is a real credit to the caravan club.Thank you Mr & Mrs Spencer we will be back very soon!

Mapie Lodge, non electric.

I have stayed numerous times and it is a first class non - electric. Gate set well clear of road and field regularly mowed, level and firm under the grass. Open views giving a " Big sky " if you use solar panels. Easy access from M1,M6 and A5 which also gives a huge area to explore. Easy to book, I text and receive confirmation when it is convenient for them. Facility to leave site fee if you want an early start. I will be back.
