Away at last

Blackwool Farm
This is a nice site ,well spaced out with a lake view. However there is no fishing at present. Beautiful grounds with walks. Petworth House National Trust site in close proximity. There is a small petrol station within walking distance that has basic supplies.

We have just returned from our 4th stay here and am sure we will return. It is peaceful with lovely surroundings, woodland walks and ducks!

Lovely little hideaway

Blackwool Farm
This is what off-grid CLs are all about the best possible location not compromised by having to be within reach of an electrical supply. Access is down short forest trail but not too bumpy if taken slowly. Just watch out for the turning as it's not obvious at first. Spent five nights here in August and whilst the lake was not at it's best (water level a bit low) it is still truly beautiful early in the morning. But don't take my word for it take a look at the video I have made here https://youtu.be/rPgW3lfnrwY Also for anyone interested in off road cycling there are lots of bridleways nearby.

Nice CL

Blackwool Farm
Had a pleasant 4 night stay. Well maintained CL surrounded by woodland with lovely old trees dotted about the site. A couple of the pitches offer good views of the lake from your van. 2 other caravans and a motorhome were on site when we arrived and there was plenty of room between us, although I’m not sure the site is 6 acres as stated. The simple facilities were well serviced and the site is easily accessible. It is a fairly quiet site, just slight noise from main road and a few aircraft, otherwise quite peaceful; we even spotted a deer on the lane as we were leaving.
