Why stay here ...

Orchard House Ayrshire is set in a scenic location on the route of the River Ayr walk, with excellent local beaches such as Ayr, Prestwick and Troon. There are many attractions within easy reach such as Ayr Racecourse, Culzean Castle and Country Park and also the famous Burns Heritage trail and centre. The site is quiet with outstanding views towards Arran and the Ayrshire coast. With no less than 40 golf courses in the area, golf enthusiasts are spoilt for choice.

Whilst you're here why not say hello to our miniature Shetland ponies Crunchie, Holly, Angel, Fudge and Uncle Fergus. Have a walk round, or just take a seat in our heritage apple orchard with 12 varieties and over 50 trees.

Each of our 5 hardstanding pitches has its own water, power and grey water drainage. We also have WiFi at the site and this is all inclusive within our price, no further charges, with a 15% discount for stays of 7 nights or over!

We allow up to 2 dogs per outfit, but they must be on leads and under control at all times. We have animals and our neighbours are sheep farmers so please ensure your dogs are well behaved around other animals.

From the end of September until mid-November you can join us to visit our Heritage Apple Orchard, pick some organic apples, press them into juice and enjoy the fruits of your labour! We press apple juice every weekend and during the October holiday here in Scotland. There are two sessions each day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. Up to 8 people can attend each session, so you may be with another group on the day. The juice is bottled and pasteurized so that you can take it home with you. Take a look at some of the pictures on our Facebook page. Prices for the experience will be posted nearer to picking time in September.

Cracking little CL!

Orchard House Ayrshire
A lovely hidden gem of a CL, friendly welcome with everything you needed to hand. Quirky shower and toilet, great views of the countryside and walks through the orchard. Loved Danny’s diner, delivered to your pitch each morning. Will return for sure

Brilliant

Orchard House Ayrshire
Stayed at Orchard House for 3 nights, wish we had stayed longer, excellent CL accredit to the owners. We were made very welcome the minute we arrived, great location close to so many places to visit. Recommend Danny’s dinner breakfast delivered to your caravan, good food, good fun. Also the local butcher who does a great haggis and much more.

An Absolute Hidden Gem

Orchard House Ayrshire
We booked here for a local-ish weekend break away. Less than an hour from Glasgow and set in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside, this little CL is cracking. Easy to get to, beautiful views, fully serviced pitches, a unique little toilet and shower in a converted horse box and the most beautiful orchard full of luscious, juicy apples. Ian was the most welcoming owner, very helpful and a genuinely lovely guy. The little Shetland ponies were just adorable. I have a feeling this could become a regular wee get away for us. Can’t wait to return soon.

The photos don't do this site justice

Orchard House Ayrshire
One of the best CLs I've stayed at, Orchard House is 'green and clean', with good facilities and a unique shower/toilet setup. A wonderfully peaceful and quiet site. The views are amazing and Ian was friendly and welcoming. I originally booked the site for one night as a stopover on the way to Isle of Arran, but I'll be booking a longer stay next time.

Site with a view and more.

Orchard House Ayrshire
Friendly welcome and nice pitch. As other reviewers have said it is well looked after. All the pitches have a great view. Novel toilet and shower which were always clean and checked often. We are sure we will use it again when we are back in this area.
