Why stay here ...

Our new CL is in a picture perfect location on the west coast of Scotland.

Set on a small working croft, yards from a beautiful sandy beach and close to the village of Arisaig. The site itself is located at the end of our croft in a large field adjacent to the beach. All five pitches are hard standing flat with 16amp hook-up with plenty of space for awnings etc.

Arisaig is an excellent base for exploring the west coast. In our immediate area we have some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. White sandy beaches with unforgettable sunsets over The Small Isles, and Skye.

To the North East is the remote wilderness of Knoydart which can be reached by ferry from Mallaig seven miles away, or can also be accessed by car and foot from Loch Morar. Experience the famous West Highland Line steam train, which runs from Fort William to Mallaig .

Take a cruise to The Small Isles on-board the Shearwater from Arisaig to Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna. There are so many things to see and do - Golf, Sailing, Fishing, Sea Kayaking, visit Film Locations, catch our Highland Games.

Visit the island of Skye and experience some wonderful Castles, enjoy locally sourced produce and sea food. Try a single malt on a visit to a distillery. Check out events in the area: local shows, Ceilidhs, visiting Musicians, festivals and open days, go Whale and Dolphin watching. The list is endless. We haven’t mentioned the golden or sea eagles, red deer and otters.

Lovely site on lovely beach

We spent three days here and enjoyed sunsets and the run of a lovely sandy beach for our dogs. A busy campsite right next door but it didn’t interfere with our spacious site.

Excellent Site with large pitches

Stayed here for 3 nights and it is a great little site. Only Pitch 1 is right on the beach but all have good views none the less. About a 20-25 minute walk into Arisaig on quiet road, it is not possible to access Arisaig without walking on Roads. Beach was very quiet, so great for walking dogs. It is a 10 minute drive to Mallaig and the ferry to the isles, lovely little Village. Owners Willie and Barbara Guy are very friendly and only too willing to give local information, will definitely return.

Beautiful place

Stayed here for 4 nights early May, everything was beyond what we expected. Large stoned pitches, everything neat and tidy and very quiet. Great for dogs access to beach from site. Fantastic scenery and sunsets, we also had lovely weather.

A Warm Welcome and a Fantastic Site

We visited in August 2017 and stayed 6 nights. The site was everything we had hoped for, peaceful and quiet with an amazing view over to Rhum and Eigg. We had pitch 1 which was right next to the beach. When we were there, the next door campsite was full but there was no noise from it, likewise, our pitch was set far enough back from the beach that we were not disturbed but still got the fabulous view. On a couple of nice evenings we walked to the Arisaig Hotel for a meal, the walk takes about 35 mins. The site owners were really friendly and we saw them going about most days. If you are feeling energetic, there are lots of walks nearby, we walked along Loch Morar to Tarbet and back which was lovely. Alternatively, you can just sit back and enjoy the white, shell beach, the view and the tranquility.
