Perfect for nature lovers

We stayed 1 night whilst travelling in our motor home on the NC500. Mr Smith welcomed us and ensured we were ok in our pitch. The site is a little sloping but the views over the loch are stunning, patience will pay if you want to see wildlife. There is a short walk down to the loch through a woodland. We didn’t use the wc on site. The site is basic and you will probably not like it if your prefer the regimen of club sites, we loved staying here, it was relaxing and offered everything we needed, water in, water out, black waste disposal and EHU. Mr Smith has lived in his house over 45 years and has a wealth of local knowledge. He also runs a small tea room next to the site.

loved this cl

only our second time on a caravan club site even if this is only a cl. We telephoned ahead to book but as this is the north west coast of scotland phone signal can be sketchy at times, so arrived anyway and were warmly welcomed by the owner. we were given the choice of the 2 remaining pitches all of which are hardstanding so no access problems. The site is on the banks of the loch and has stunning views of the landscape all around, there is a cafe on site which is a handy bonus if you do not wish to cook. the only issue we found was the ladies loo had no toilet roll in, soon remedied by borrowing some from the mens loo, as mentioned before the loo's could do with a spruce up but i've certainly seen and used worse on my travels. Overall I would recomend a visit here as the scenery and tranquility far out weigh the slighty tired loos. As to no tv signal, who wants to watch tv when the views are this spectacular.

Lovely CL

Second time here and we love it , the views are lovely , the owner is really friendly, knowledgable and chatty. Toilets were fine during our stay , location really good , and if the roads are narrow and winding so what -- who wants to drive fast thru that scenery, thoroughly recommend this CL

Stunning Views

Stayed here for a couple of nights while doing the NC 500. This CL has fantastic views overlooking Loch Eriboll (A two masted sailing ship was anchored during our stay which enhanced the already great views). Well spaced hard standing pitches, the usuall facilities plus a cafe'. Would most certainly visit this cl again. The owner was chatty and helpful.
