Fantastic views

The Kings Park
A warm and friendly welcome from Bev, then a short drive on a good track through the fields took us to the caravan field. We managed to find a flat area although the field undulates. It's well set up with water and waste nicely installed by the field gate and chemical emptying by the house. We had the site to ourselves. It was very peaceful, just the occasional sound of the noisiest traffic; mostly we couldn't hear it at all. In one direction we had views of the sea whereas inland there were views of the mountains, and fields all round us - absolutely glorious. We only stayed one night as we were on our way home, but would certainly go back given the opportunity.

Just what a CL site should be

The Kings Park
Stayed end of May 2021. Warm welcome by Richard, large grass field with waste and water, only resident on a campsite on the NC500! Friendly neighbors are a donkey and goats. Stunning views to the local countryside. Just what we want from a CL site. £12 per night.

Just the best

The Kings Park
On our NC500 tour, this site is on the route. We were a little confused by the directions as Berridale Braes wasn’t on the OS map, but essentially it’s the village. If you spot the snow gates as you descend into the village the mileages are a pretty good guide to the turn off when travelling north. So, no leccy, but for our one night stay, that’s no problem. We were lucky to have the field to ourselves which the dogs loved. There’s a tap for water, somewhere for grey and black water waste, what more does a modern unit need. Loved it.

MOTORHOMER :Wonderful, peaceful site

The Kings Park
Wonderful welcome to this beautiful site. Stunning views to the mountains and to the sea. All grass, drive through three gates to field so although entrance on A9, so quiet. Grass beautifully kept, joy to walk on, no shoes as lucky with glorious weather on our visit too. No electricity - not a problem our preference as generally quieter sites. Drinking water and grey waste in the field, black waste nearer the house. Would certainly come again when travelling this far North would have asked to stay longer if not heading for a ferry. Thank you for sharing your bit of paradise with us.
