Why stay here ...

Family friendly, privately owned small touring site set within a secluded and rural hideaway with only a short distance from some of the most amazing beaches to be found on the outstanding Llyn Peninsula. Sea views, big skies and tranquility guaranteed! Set within our expanding smallholding of 8 acres of Wales' unspoilt landscape. For the more adventurous some of the best fishing, watersports and surfing on top of the miles of accessible coastal path is all within the immediate area. For example the famous Whistling Sands is our closest beach and the beautiful fishing village Aberdaron is a couple of miles away.

Why not bring the children to take part in feeding the chickens and ducks, and hunt for fresh eggs laid daily. As we are a smallholding we have the freshest of eggs and jams available to purchase on site as well as stocking some of your forgotten essentials.

We look forward to welcoming all touring Caravans, Motorhomes and Trailer tents, with hook ups and drinking water and pot rinsing taps. We also have a chemical waste disposal point on site.

Being a small holding we welcome dogs (must be kept on lead) and we are creating a dedicated dog run at some point in the near future - watch this space!

We also have a safe secure adjacent field within sight of all pitches for the kids to play in whilst you can watch on with peace of mind - there are various activities for them to while away the day ie we have goal posts, basket ball net, golf clubs and balls for pitch and putt.

Hidden Gem

We’ve just returned from another peaceful week of sun, bbq’s and fresh air at Bodffordd, with excellent dark skies for stargazing and close to beautiful beaches, wonderful walks and quaint villages. Abersoch and Pwllheli are also only a short drive away for when you need more civilisation. It's an ideal site for families with children as there’s a play field adjacent and within view of the vans, great for football and there’s also basketball and swingball. The owners Michelle & Neil are really friendly giving lots of information on the local area and new visitors are greeted with a welcome pack of half a dozen fresh free from eggs from their small holding. It’s still a fairly new CL and has recently had toilets installed and they’re continually improving the facilities. A real hidden gem!

A wonderful little spot!

We spent a lovely few days here and felt very relaxed and comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and even bought us some fresh eggs on our first afternoon. The only downside for us was the lack of a hot water tap and no showers at the time we went. Washing up in our small van is quite difficult and the use of a washing up area would have been a real bonus. Having said that, we will definitely return at some point.

Excellent site

We have just spent a lovely 2 weeks at this site. Very friendly welcoming owners (came out in a gale to meet us when we arrived.) Very family friendly. If you pitch at the bottom of the field, like we did, watch out if it rains heavy as all the water runs down and through the awning. We loved the peace and tranquility, but the only down side we found was that for us it was a little too far from everything. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
