Why stay here ...

Cleddau Estate Caravan Park, owned by a Club member and family, is a pleasant, secluded, country site of approximately one acre, with woodlands extending to a further acre. It is situated three miles from Haverfordwest, a mile from Camrose village, and about six miles from the Coast. It is set above the Camrose Brook, with trout fishing available for guests. (National Licence and 'Wellies' required). Further private fishing and scenic walks can be enjoyed along the adjoining one-mile stretch of the Cleddau River, which forms part of our Estate. Otters have been sighted here, along with badgers, kingfishers and herons.

It is centrally located for exploring Pembrokeshire's scenic coastline, its wonderful sandy beaches, historic buildings, and many Castles. The site is well placed for those wishing to walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

There is hard standing with slightly sloping grassed plots with ample room for awnings and motorhomes, with easy access from the B4330.

There are on-site flush toilets and a shower, with solar-power lighting. There is, also, a fresh water tap and disposal unit. The Olde Inn, Pembrokeshire's oldest pub, which serves food, is within walking distance.

The site is just over a mile off the main A40 road to the Port at Fishguard (14 miles) with its ferry service to Ireland. Pembroke Dock Ferry Terminal is also just 14 miles distant.

The historic County Town of Haverfordwest has ample shopping and supermarkets, and a Farmers' Market weekly. It also boasts a Castle and a Museum.

At present, there is no electric supply or hook-ups on site, but a battery charging service is available.

Children, pets, and overnight stops welcome.

Quiet tidy site

Stayed on this site for a week in Mid August. It's quite a narrow site so may not be suited to some-one with a longish caravan. Once we'd set-up and settled in all was fine. The toilets & shower facilities are clean and tidy. No EHU which is made clear in the booklet and on-line. We use a solar panel. The site is surrounded by trees so the sun doesn't shine on to the area until mid-morning. The weather had also been rather cloudy. Consequently we needed to give the battery a boost. The owners very kindly loaned us a leisure battery while charging our own all free of cost. The site is close to Haverfordwest so shopping easy and convenient. Road network excellent for visiting all along the Pembrokeshire Coast and Milford Haven area too. One thing that intrigues m'husband & myself is where is the cove shown on the photo above? We missed it we think! Would recommend this site without hesitation.

We'll be back!!

Tranquil little spot, easy to find when you're looking -or you could drive past and not know it's there! Great spot for visiting the whole area. We booked for one night stayed for a week, Richard and Di are very welcoming and very helpful in recommending a vet.... dogs are welcome on may of Pembrokeshire's beaches, please do watch what they pick up, we think it may of been a dead jelly fish.. yuk. Shower and loo are clean, gateway easy to get in and out of and 4 supermarkets in Haverfordwest. As in title - we will be back!!

Good location, simple but tidy facilities

We booked by email for 1 night but stayed for two. Adjacent to a b road so handy but with just a tiny bit of traffic noise. In the shade in the morning but full sun afternoon and evening. Lovely area but views arn't expansive because of the trees, which are lovely. Excellent shower and clean, tidy loos. Richard came to make us welcome then left us to it. Definitely earmarked for a future stay.

An under-utilised, nicely set-up site

A quiet site with easy access, well laid out on fairly level ground with hard standing, loos and unlimited hot water in the shower. The owners are extremely helpful and welcoming and the site is well-positioned for exploring the peninsular. The site sits within trees and so there is little sunshine, making it ideal in hot weather.
