Knighton Certificated Locations
The market town of Knighton is situated on the River Teme in the Welsh county of Powys. However, part of the conurbation actually lies within the English county of Shropshire.
It has been renowned for some turbulent times over the centuries, but today is known as being a great spot for a holiday, particularly if you like outdoor pursuits. There are some excellent walking trails nearby and a woodland activity centre for kids and the young at heart within easy reach.
Other highlights include a section of Offa's Dyke, a glass flameworking studio and the Spaceguard Centre, a working observatory specialising in tracking near-earth objects that could potentially hit our planet.
Once you're satisfied that deep impact isn't imminent, Knighton can provide a host of places to eat and drink at the end of a long day's sightseeing.
