Lovely quiet level site

Really please with this site. Large space so even with 5 vans space for little ones to kick a ball or throw a frisbee. Right next to the river (fenced off) so you can fall asleep to the babbling water. The best kept grass I’ve seen in a long time; better than my lawn at home. If you’re not walkers there isn’t much to do near by. We couldn’t get FM, DAB or TV signal, but had no issues with satellite signal. EE reasonable signal which was a good speed.

Tranquility

We have just returned from a wonderful visit to this immaculate site in stunning surroundings and are still savouring the experience. The stunning views and tranquility are a balm to Brexit woes. The owners are delightful and very welcoming. This site is well worth a visit.

One of the best

Stayed for one night in Sept. Beautifully mown large flat grass area right next to babbling stream. Great weather during our stay showed the site at its best. Great for walking and cycling. Shame the electrical hook ups aren't closer to the fence by the river so we could all enjoy the view. You could take a VERY long electrical cable I suppose. Will return !

Riverside location

This is a pretty , well spaced site with lovely views down the valley . Also has a river running alongside. Owners friendly and helpful. Access to Offa's dyke a mile away , other paths available but not well signposted.  There are sheep everywhere so if you are taking dogs be sure their tick treatment is up to date as we picked up 3! Lovely rural location for a peaceful break

Really welcoming site

I don't normally leave reviews for sites, but I was so impressed by the warmth of the welcome that we received from Mr & Mrs Williams that I felt compelled to do so in this case.  They could not have been more hospitable and friendly, making us feel right at home. As to the site itself, as others have stated, it is level and in a truly lovely valley by the river.  TV reception is good and, although the farm itself is a bit off the beaten track, it's not too far from a number of interesting places.  The best bit though, if you are a keen walker, is the access to local paths from the site itself including Offa's Dyke. I would thoroughly recommend this CL and would like to thank the owners for their exceptional hospitality.
