Not for us

Moreton-in-Marsh Club Campsite
Best avoid this site in the wet weather. Absolute mud bath. Construction of new pitches contributing towards mud. Most signs fallen over. Road ways heavily potholed hence fill up with water. Basically the infrastructure needs investment if its going to continue to be a site that opens in winter UK getting wetter. Not for us at the moment

Site in need of refurbishment

Moreton-in-Marsh Club Campsite
First time staying at Moreton In Marsh, the roads on site are very worn out with big potholes and puddles everywhere, the toilets and showers were very clean and expected but are possibly the oldest facilities I've used on a camc site, road is busy adjacent to the site. To sum it up the site is cleaned and maintained as best as can be by the wardens and staff, needs some investment from head office.

Pleasant stay

Moreton-in-Marsh Club Campsite
Lovely club site. Staff very welcoming. Our pitch (serviced one) was very nice. Close to bus stop and short walk into Morton in Marsh. Market day (Tuesday) worth a visit. Lovely stay.

Great stay at Moreton in Marsh

Moreton-in-Marsh Club Campsite
Had a wonderful stay here with my partner and dog recently. Site staff were friendly and welcoming and site was within short walking distance from Moreton in Marsh itself which has an array of lovely eateries. Would definitely recommend the local delicacy 'lardy cakes' from Huffkins! Delicious. Our pitch was spacious and the ground was perfect for awning pegs, hard enough to get a good fixing but not so hard that you struggle getting them in. The facilities are rather old fashioned and could do with a revamp but are very clean and tidy so can't complain. Had a great stay here and will definitely be returning.

Moreton Revisited

Moreton-in-Marsh Club Campsite
It's been a few year's since we last stayed, and there have been a few changes, pitches have been improved and service pitches have been introduced, also a couple of Yurts and Safari Tents installed behind the play area. Work was also being carried out to improve other pitches while we were there. Some of the pitches are still narrow and cars have to be parked along the front if using an awning. The Second toilet block was only open during the weekend. I'd also forgotten how busy the road outside the site is so there is some road noise especially at peak times. The gate directly onto the footpath at the back of the site was a useful addition. Moreton still has plenty of tea rooms and pubs and some interesting shops. It's very dog friendly too. Can recommend the Black Bear for Sunday lunch. The site gives easy access to the rest of the cotswolds.
