Wirral is a peninsula of great natural beauty, and the Wirral Country Park Club Campsite is set right in the midst of some of its loveliest landscapes with wonderful sea views. Located in a country park of 2,000 acres of unspoilt nature, the caravan park is made up of several pitching areas attractively separated by trees and shrubs. Some pitches overlook the Dee Estuary, which is one of many ideal places for scenic walks. There are lots of lovely wooded areas on site and plenty of bird life to observe.

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of a wealth of fun activities to suit all tastes, whether for sports enthusiasts, young families or those with ultra-relaxed pursuits in mind. You will find the caravan park just perfect for sailing - no less than seven private Sailing Clubs offer temporary and family membership to visitors. Apart from a huge choice of unforgettably scenic walks, the area offers power-boating, water skiing and other water-based sports to enjoy along with several indoor swimming pools, sports and recreation centres and golf courses. One of our Merseyside touring sites, you’ll be conveniently located to visit Liverpool and explore north Wales.

A mobile fish and chip van visits this site, please ask the site staff for details.

Another pleasant stay.

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
This was our second stay at this site and it was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and although the site was very busy, we did have a choice of pitch. We chose pitch 78, which was close to the entrance/exit, has a lovely view and is next to the facilities block. The only downside to this, was that we had some very ignorant people walking right across our pitch to the toilets. Obviously this is not down to the staff, but maybe they should remind members, when checking in, that they should not walk across other people’s pitches. Maybe a few signs would help too.

Pleasant site but a few niggles

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
This was the fourth site we had stayed on during our summer tour. Of the other three, two were private sites and one was a CCC CS. We arrived at 1.15pm and check in was swift, staff were very helpful as to what pitches were available and where water/showers were etc. The reception area was lovely with lots of summer flowers - always nice to see! We chose a pitch near the toilet block (78) mainly because we had a view of the estuary and we were in full sunshine. Outside the entrance is the Wirral Way which we walked one day into West Kirby, nice little town with a marine lake, lots of nice shops and a handful of pubs. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Now the niggles...why is it that whenever we stay on a club site the WiFi is awful? Site leaflet states either choose 'Free Club WiFi' - which is appalling, or opt for 'Premium' Wifi but you have to go on line to pay for it! How do you go online to pay for it if you have no WiFI? As the club have hiked pitch prices up so much surely WiFi should be included? The sites we stayed on previously all had excellent WiFi, included in the fees and passwords given on arrival. Added to this a couple of the sites were much cheaper per night and the facilities were much better-we thought the showers etc at Wirral looked old and in need of refurbishment. So it beggars the question why pay a membership fee when you can get better sites with more facilities at a cheaper price. We'll probably choose private sites in the future over club sites. Final niggle - and this is not a fault with site but an issue with other ignorant guests. The amount of people who feel it is acceptable to walk across your pitch to cut the corner off on their way to the toilet. One man walked passed right outside our door carrying his toilet cassette which was dripping-GROSS. This is a nice site, somewhat isolated but if you're towing and so have a car you'll be fine or if you have bikes there's some lovely areas around the site.

Second visit and we will return!

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great to be able to cycle to local villages and pubs! Close to the beach too and the stunning country park. The only area for improvement would be the facilities. As other have said, they are out dated and in need of modernisation like other sites have had but they were as clean as they could be and this won't stop us from returning!

Fabulous stay, fabulous hosts, exceptional service!

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
My wife and I arrived after a very stressful few weeks of selling our home and wanting to travel. Having completed the day before and picking up our new motorhome on the day of arrival, again with its teething problems, Dawn and Graham and the team made us feel extremely welcome and we very much appreciated those efforts that made everything feel normal again. Throughout our stay they managed to assist us to minimise disruption whilst we were finalising all our arrangements and were always informative, friendly and very accommodating. Thank you for such a lovely stay and for all you did for us! If you want a 5 star service in a beautiful location you will not be disappointed with the Wirral Country Park site!
