First timers made to feel very welcome

Uttoxeter Racecourse Club Campsite
We enjoyed Easter weekend at this site. Ruth and Phil were very welcoming Wardens - from the minute we arrived we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome that lasted for the whole of the weekend. The site is 5-10 mins walk from the town - which has all the major super markets - and lots of lovely bars, cafes and restaurants. The Vintage Time - had lovely saturday night - we enjoyed afternoon tea in the Vintage Emporium and drink in Prestige, Talbot White Star - All very different - but everywhere the staff we very friendly - We are going back in June - to enjoy a Race Night. Well Done Ruth and Phil - look forward to seeing you again. Lesley and Rosario

Great weekend!

Uttoxeter Racecourse Club Campsite
Just returned from a weekend away. It's a fabulous site, lovely, friendly wardens, sensible price per night, this is all we need! The facilities are a little dated, but pristine. Since we last visited they have built an Aldi just across from the site, 10mins walk just next to the Waitrose. There is also a train station next to the site and Uttoxeter is in walking distance. We went to Alton Towers for the day in the motorhome, no problems on arrival, we were asked to park in coach park near to the main entrance.

Much improved site with new wardens.

Uttoxeter Racecourse Club Campsite
We have been staying at this site for nearly 20 years, it's a lovely site regardless of whether your visiting for the racing or not. Sadly last year it was looking very uncared for and the warden's must have missed the training on cleaning. When we arrived in March on the day of the site opening this year it was lovely being greeted with a smile, it also soon became clear that Phil and Ruth enjoy their job and went out of their way to help people on site. The site was looking really nice, no long grass, no litter and the facilities although old were spotlessly clean. Keep up the work!

What a pleasant surprise

Uttoxeter Racecourse Club Campsite
Just got back from a great weekend at Uttoxeter racecourse caravan site and I have got to say it is loads better than my last visit 6 months ago. The new wardens Phil and Ruth have done a fantastic job already. The toilet and showers although a little tired have been spotless all weekend and as a racing weekend the place was full. The hardstanding pitches no longer have weeds coming through and the whole place looks much better. Phil and Ruth go the extra mile to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. Phil even helped me get my motorhome out of the mud when I got stuck even though it meant him getting splattered from head to toe( sorry Phil) can't wait to return.

I had a nice peaceful stay and enjoyed the walks around the racecourse with the dogs. Wardens were friendly and helpful. Well kept grounds and I found the facilities clean and neat.
