Planted with silver birch, rowan and flowering cherry, Slinfold Club Campsite is a gem nestled at the end of a country lane on the edge of a pretty stone-roofed village. The caravan park is ideal for a relaxing holiday break at one of our favourite West Sussex campsites, offering an amazing variety of wildlife, lovely walking trails and well-kept cycle routes, including the South Downs Link to the North Downs which follows a quaint old railway line adjacent to the site. Slinfold Caravan Club Campsite is a haven for dogs, with many walks directly from the site and the dog-friendly Red Lyon pub only a 15 minute walk away.
Slinfold Club Campsite has a reception area built on the spot of an old railway station which was closed in 1965 - fascinating pictures of this piece of local history are on display. The nearby village of Slinfold is a charming place to wander, with its rose-covered cottages still retaining their old names such as The Tannery and Forge Cottage. Local people extend a warm welcome to visitors, particularly at fete and flower festival times which are memorable events for young and old alike. The site is well located for visiting the nearby towns of Horsham, Guildford and Dorking or exploring the south coast. Please note: some noise can be expected from nearby factory.
Please note: this site does not have a toilet block.
