Why stay here ...

A large, well kept site divided into two main areas, Morn Hill Club Site is well segmented by trees and shrubs to give each visitor a sense of privacy, and shade during summer months. The caravan park offers a wealth of lovely natural landscapes to explore and the added bonus of giving you easy access to the charming local ferries that remind of nostalgic days gone by.

Morn Hill Club Site is conveniently located near Winchester, an old cathedral city of considerable beauty in that it has retained many of its ancient buildings and happily excluded the motor car from its heart. The Hampshire caravan site is an ideal base for touring some of England's most renowned and delightful landmarks - within an hour's drive you can reach the university town of Oxford, the grand castle in Windsor, pretty Chichester and the South Downs, Salisbury, The New Forest and the famous Stonehenge.

The site has a good dog walk.

Please note: there are no hardstanding pitches on this site.

Nice stay again

The pitches are a good size and wardens very friendly and helpful. Some noise if you are near the main road, but not bad overall. Plenty of places to go and visit. We did the Isle of Wight, Petersfield Open air swimming pool and a walk to the Chestnut pub for lunch in our few days. Would recommend.

What a beautiful little site

Morn hill caravan club site, what a beautiful site, very spacious pitches you will need a long hook up lead, good tv signal, good wi fi, only bad thing is if you have a motorhome there is a very dangerious way, of you having to lift a manhole cover up, and then drive over it to empty your waist tank!!!. the site needs to sort this matter out urgently before someone drives down the drain causeing untold damage to there motorhome. Apart from that everything fine (well will be when they open up the shower/toilet blocks fully) excellent bus route into town stops right outside. Massave pitches. Very quiet site. Will be returning.

Another outstanding visit to this lovely site

Living in Southampton we often use Morn hill for weekend getaways, we are so pleased we found this lovely site. The wardens know us now, and they are always working so hard to keep the site spotless. Burger van on site Fridays and Saturdays Toilets are unisex, each block used for only 1 household/caravan at a time, but spotless. Would prefer when we can get back to sharing facilities, but this is just following covid guidance. Site spotless especially through these difficult times. The staff are also superb very friendly. Dianne,Bernie,Lisa & Chris you are doing amazing job and work so hard thank you all See you all in July and hoping visitor restrictions are able to be lifted by then for our daughter to visit ❤️

Outstanding Visit

This is a regular site we visit and was delighted to be back. We stayed local this time as our daughter who was due to give birth in 3 weeks time and I was her birthing partner after a lovely day out at Marwell Zoo our grand-daughter decided to arrive early. The wardens were amazing allowed us to extend our stay by another 6 days, and so helpful throughout our stay, the whole site was spotless especially through these difficult times. The shower blocks have changed to unisex temporarily and it works very well. Takeaway van comes Fridays & Saturdays enjoyed it very much and the staff are also superb very friendly. Dianne,Bernie,Lisa & Chris you are doing amazing job and so very appreciated.

OK, but, definitely not quiet and peaceful

Perhaps, first, I should say, we had dreadful weather during our stay, rain every day for seven days!, and, as we all know, everything looks better in sunshine. - usual friendly and helpful wardens you would expect with CAMC - usual clean and tidy site you would expect with CAMC - good bus service (30 minutes), five minutes walk from site, to Winchester/Alton - unisex facilities, which may not be to everyones taste, also, a bit dated, Showers in particular too small. - due to Covid restrictions only one person/family group at a time in facilities, lots of queues! - Burger van on Friday/Saturday, quite good as Burger Vans go - Holiday In nearby (5 minutes walk), but, if you want a pub (Cricketers or Chestnut Horse), it is two miles to Easton. - all grass, no hard standing, not ideal in a Motorhome in wet weather (and, it was wet) - significant road noise from A31 (we are urban dwellers, so, used to traffic noise), this is beyond reasonable. Finally, DO read the approach instructions, the SatNav will probably not actually find it.
